Sustainability & Environmental Projects

Stubcroft is a sustainable, environmentally friendly campsite. Our Amenity block incorporates superb facilities for customers using the latest eco-friendly technology & design. We have planted new conservation hedges and trees which provide shelter and privacy. There is a wealth of wildlife on the farm with over 82 species of birds identified; deer, hedgehogs, foxes, rabbits, rare butterflies & moths and much more.

These initiatives resulted in many environmental awards over recent years including  Green Tourism’s “Gold” Award, Quality in Tourism’s Gold Award for Responsible, Ethical & Sustainable Tourism, three Gold awards in Visit Britain’s / Tourism South East’s “ Beautiful South” Responsible, Ethical & Sustainable (ERST) Tourism category, and most recently we have won the Federation of Small Businesses 2024 “UK Sustainable Business of the Year” award!.

At Stubcroft we have a range of environmental projects either completed or under way. Our aim is to make Stubcroft as sustainable & environmentally friendly as possible and each year, a proportion of our profits are invested back in eco-friendly projects.
