How to Find Us
Directions by Car:
From the A27 Chichester bypass take the A286 south of Chichester towards the Wittering’s & Bracklesham. After 3-4 miles there is a long straight road through Birdham village. Fork left onto the B2198 at a mini-roundabout by a Shell garage signposted to East Wittering & Bracklesham Bay. After approx. half a mile, there is an S bend. Turn right on the apex of the second bend into a little lane called Tile Barn Lane, marked with a sign for the campsite. Go 200yds, over two speed humps, then turn left by a campsite signpost onto a long, gravel farm lane. After approximately half a mile you will find the campsite on the right-hand side. (just before the farmhouse and barns). Please check in at reception in the new amenity block on arrival.
If arriving by car, please follow the instructions and, try not to rely on GPS or Satnav devices, as these can lead you down lanes that are unsuitable for vehicles. However, if your Satnav/GPS device has a “Via” function, you can enter ‘PO20 8PJ’ via ‘Tile Barn Lane’ which should bring you to us.

Public Transport Directions:
For people arriving by train, get off at Chichester Station. There are also some Coach services from London, Portsmouth, Southampton and Brighton to Chichester.
From the Platform 1 of the train station, the bus stop & coach station is just across the main road. If you are coming from the Portsmouth direction (Platform 2) you need to cross the railway footbridge to the bust station.
The Number 52 & 53 buses serve the Wittering’s loop. During daytimes they run every 15-20 minutes & at weekends & evenings they are every 30 minutes.
From Chichester to Stubcroft the Number 52 is quickest. Ask for Bracklesham Corner / Tile Barn Lane, and you need to get off approx. ½ mile after the Shell Garage, just after the S-Bends. You will see the Campsite Sign at the end of Tile Barn Lane by the Bus Stop. Walk down Tile Barn Lane then after 200 yards follow the sign to the campsite.
When going from the campsite to Chichester, the 53 is quickest.

International visitors:
Most ferries arrive in the ports of Dover, Newhaven, Portsmouth or Southampton. From Dover or Newhaven, head west to reach the A27, or from Portsmouth and Southampton head east on the M27 to Chichester then follow the above directions.
From Heathrow catch the train to Chichester via Victoria or Waterloo. Gatwick Airport station is on the Victoria to Chichester mainline route, then follow the public transport directions below.

(closed for lunch 1pm to 2pm)

During quiet periods the shop and reception may only be open for limited periods. New arrivals please phone the above phone numbers as we may be working nearby on the farm or campsite.
There is a ‘Green’ discount available for guests who arrive by public transport, by foot, by cycle or using an electric/hybrid car.
