Catering staff needed for 2026 season

We are looking to recruit two experienced catering staff to help run our new licensed “Shepherds Hut” style catering trailer for the 2025 season. The trailer will be providing a high quality “cafe” style menu throughout the day so previous barista experience will be required together with appropriate food hygiene certificates to provide a range of food offerings including breakfast, savoury snacks & pastries, sandwiches, baguettes & toasties and a hot “dish of the day”. Pitch or caravan accommodation available if required, good earnings potential. Suit single or couple.   Season April – September, references required. We offer a good career path and opportunities for regular future work for staff who satisfactorily complete the season.

Site Wardens needed for 2026 season:

Duties include shop & reception duties, checking in & assisting campers, telephone & booking, general site & grounds maintenance, cleaning amenity block and campsite etc. Full training given.  Pitch or caravan accommodation available if required, good earnings potential. Suit single or couple.   Season April – September / October, references required – may be some end of season maintenance work available. Labourer / Campsite Assistant needed for 2026 season:

Duties include general site & grounds maintenance and assisting the campsite wardens with general campsite site assistant duties etc. Must have a good level of fitness. Full training given.  Pitch or caravan accommodation available if required, good earnings potential. Suit single or couple.   Season April – September / October, references required – may be some end of season maintenance work available.

Volunteers needed for Conservation work or Vintage Tractor & Machinery restoration:

We are always working on various environmental projects and projects to restore vintage tractors & farm machinery. If you are interested in helping either short or long term please phone Simon for a chat. Accommodation and expenses may be available and this may lead to longer term work.

Conservation Volunteers: we run a range of projects including hedge & tree planting, habitat creation, hedge-laying and much more.

Tractor & Vintage Machinery restoration: This would suit those interested in vintage machinery, stripping down, repairing, re-painting anything from horse drawn equipment to vintage stationary engines, old tractors, ploughs, & vintage machinery to threshing machines and more. A range of skills would help including carpentry, mechanics, painting, engineering etc. but is not necessary. Might suit retired mechanics or engineers looking for a challenge!
