Just perfect, what a wonderful site. The staff are amazing, the facilities are absolutely spotless. I cannot fault it at all. This is my 3rd visit in the past few weeks, it’s peaceful and in a great location for walking to the beach and the town. About 15-20 mins. I was able to bring my dogs too. It’s lovely just to sit out in the evening under the stars with a fire pit / bbq. This is a very well-run campsite and would highly recommend.

First stay with teenagers in the campervan! What a lovely campsite, eco-friendly and lots of space. The staff were welcoming and offered helpful tips on the location of the local beaches. We will return in the warmer months to make use of the campfires.
Relax and enjoy! From arrival to leaving all was fabulous. Very good check in and details about everything. No rushing. Site was so quiet and you can hear all the birds. Showers and toilets are so clean.
Nice, clean and available all year round. Facilities, has hard standings and grass pitches with electric power. Very well laid out site. Front reception has tuck shop for basic needs. Wash area for washing up crockery and clothing which is always open and accessible. Ample shower room with hot water, this is separate from the toilet. Very clean. Has grey and black waste facilities. Water points and recycling points. My experience was excellent, friendly helpful staff. My first time out with a camper van as new owner and Michaela was very helpful with guidance as really novice. I was very impressed and shame I only discovered the sheep as I was leaving. Take footwear for the muddy lanes. Not too far from the beach, I would 100% recommend this site and will return again.
Our first visit to the site and area, we loved it. Excellent sized hard standing pitch, the facilities were kept immaculately and the reception lady was so friendly and helpful. They provide blocks to be able to stand BBQs and fire pits on which was a lovely treat as so many sites don’t allow them. It was a 20min walk to a lovely sandy beach of West Wittering. The site itself is set on a farm 1/2 mile down a private lane so it was in a really quiet and peaceful location. We will definitely be back!
Thanks! We had a great experience at Stubcroft Farm on a cold January weekend. Everything explained, so many facilities, everywhere clean and tidy, fire pits for hire, ideas for walks and rides we could do, it was a great family experience and we hope to visit again.

Welcoming and quiet! A warm welcome, good value and very clean. Pitches are well spaced out and it’s a very quiet site – apart from a few tap dancing seagulls in the morning!
One of my favourite spots. Michaela is always there to help and accommodate. Super friendly, the site and facilities always immaculate. And close to the best beach outside Cornwall. Highly recommended.
Winter break. A really nice site. It was clean and tidy, very friendly and it had everything there.
A brilliant stay, despite the foggy weather, but it was December, so the weather is often hit and miss that time of year. The site is perfect, the facilities so clean, everything so well organised and staff friendly and helpful. Also, Chichester and the beaches are lovely places to visit. We look forward to going back in the summer.

Our Christmas Getaway! We booked in at Stubcroft Farm for our short Christmas break. Upon arrival we were met by welcoming staff and were shown all amenities available in a very well kept building. Showers, toilets kitchen washing up area, were all immaculate and all provisions were made for less abled persons. There are recycling points, freshwater points, and amenities for waste water etc. as we have a campervan. All very well maintained. During our stay we met Michaela who popped by to make sure we were comfortable and to let us know they were available anytime should we need them. So very warm and welcoming. The Farm is within walking distance to Bracklesham and The Witterings, shops, pubs and eating places. We really enjoyed our stay there and highly recommended. Thank you Stubcroft Farm.

Absolutely splendid site! A staggeringly good stay at Stubcroft Farm. This was our first trip in our minivan and Stubcroft proved a perfect location for a shakedown. From the beginning to the end, our brief stay was perfect. Lovely pitches, close to beaches and amenities. Brilliant staff. The facilities were never short of spotless, they were always on hand if any help was needed. We fully intend to return, thank you so much for a wonderful stay.
Fantastic site overall. Really peaceful set down a quiet lane away from traffic noise. Site is broken up into a series of smaller fields so no area feels too crowded. Hard standing pitch was perfectly level and with plenty of space and privacy. Toilets and showers were immaculate. Nice touches like free herbs, and apples to help yourself. Very dog friendly. Perfect place for walks. If you don’t have electric hook up you can rent a lockable space to charge devices. Not seen this elsewhere. Staff there really helpful. Will definitely be back.
Lovely site, facilities were really well maintained, toilet and shower facilities were good, nice hot showers. Good sized pitches, great to be able to have campfires. Location was good for everything we wanted to do with beaches a short drive away. Will definitely be visiting again.

Perfect late summer getaway! Excellent campsite, great friendly staff. New facilities are of a very high standard. Great idea providing blocks for under our firepit. It was very quiet, so it was a perfect late summer weekend. Indian takeaway Saturday night and no charge for delivery.

We went to stubcroft farm for our first ever trip, having bought a caravan very recently. We found it to be excellent. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The grounds were exemplary and the facilities were spacious, in tip top condition and spotlessly clean. They even sold us a corkscrew when we made the rookie error of forgetting to take one with us. Very dog friendly. Lovely areas to walk with him and the staff were lovely to him. The owner took the time to go round and chat to the guests and was very charming. No faults to be found.

We stayed only 1 night here. ( wish it was longer ) nothing was too much trouble for them…. such helpful and knowledgeable about the area. Toilets and showers were immaculate. All the site was very tidy.. yup. We WILL call again when down that way.

Simply the best… Stubcroft Farm campsite is everything a family camping experience should be: a warm, welcoming safe space in an area of natural beauty; staff who are warm, pro-actively helpful and friendly; cosy fire pits under a starry sky; squeaky clean amenity block for showers and loos or eco loos; a little shop with all the essentials sourced locally and priced fairly. You don’t have to pay for frills you don’t need and I hear next year they will be offering a food truck with local producers serving hot pies and wood fired pizzas – I can’t wait! Our 7 year old made 5 new friends before we’d put the tent up and we had another lovely few days enjoying the sandy beaches at East Wittering. What’s not to like? Thanks again, Simon, Michaela and everyone for a lovely break by the sea. We had a great time and I’m sure we’ll be back soon. I can’t recommend these guys highly enough! ✨😌👌.
Great location and excellent facilities. We camped here over a few days and we’re easily able to explore the area and have really chilled evenings. Staff were all very friendly and helpful. Real mix of people making use of the site and all really friendly too.

HIGHLY RECOMMEND, LOVELY CAMPSITE, LOVELY STAFF! I cannot recommend highly enough!! The staff at Stubcroft Farm absolutely bent over backwards to help us bank holiday weekend when we were turned away (with our 7 year old grandson) from the campsite we had used 3 times previously with nowhere to stay. They even stored our trailer tent for us overnight until they could fit us in the next day! They literally saved our holiday! Once we were set up I can honestly say they were the friendliest most helpful staff, every one of them.. they made you feel like family! The toilet, showering facilities were spotless, the campsite was well looked after and very welcoming. The little shop sold all of the essentials that you might need.. I literally can’t fault them and will definitely be booking next year! Thank you Stubcroft Farm Campsite!

Welcoming and a very pleasant site. After an awful experience at a nearby campsite left me with nowhere to go and x4 little girls in tow – I managed to book onto this site and spend a night. I would just like to say what compassionate, kind and helpful staff they were. They even helped me push my caravan into place and get me settled in quickly and comfortably. The pitches are lovely, the showers are clean and luxurious and we ended the evening with a bbq which we hired from the site at a reasonable cost. Site was quiet and peaceful at night but also had activity – people chatting around fire pits and kiddies coming back from the beach. Dog friendly (even though my dog didn’t come on this occasion ) and I feel the staff made an extra effort to make me feel welcome after my ordeal. Many thanks and see you soon.
Went to Stubcroft Farm Campsite for the August 24 Bank Holiday weekend. Booked late so stayed in overflow field. Staff were excellent, showers and toilets in main building exceptionally clean. I thoroughly recommend.
Best family campsite in the south! We just returned from our 3rd annual friends camping trip at Stubcroft and had another amazing bank holiday weekend. The location is fantastic, easy to drive to Chichester and easy to walk to great beaches on safe country lanes. The staff at the campsite are amazing! Really helpful and cheery all weekend. Barbecue rental and fire pits are an added bonus!! Lots of space for football and cricket. Can’t wait to return.
Clean site, super friendly staff, wonderful local produce. 20 minute walk into East Wittering via a footpath from the site. The staff were delightful. The little shop had a good range of products and local produce was top notch (the sausages and bacon were amazing). Showers and toilet facilities were 5 star.
Cracking Little Campsite! Fantastic campsite with great staff. Always smiling and nothing is ever too much trouble. We come back year after year and love the location. Walking distance to some cracking pubs and beach with another huge sandy beach only a 10 mins drive away.
We had a lovely 3 night stay at Stubcroft. The facilities were clean and well maintained. The staff are all welcoming, friendly and helpful. They make regular checks around the site, making sure everyone is OK and keeping the site clean and tidy. It’s a great location for the nearby beaches, including our favourite, West Wittering. The on-site shop was very reasonably priced, as are the charging facilities. We will definitely be returning 👏👏
Autism aware campsite 10/10! We’ve just got back from an excellent stay at Stubcroft Farm. We have 2, highly sensitive, autistic / ADHD children and had therefore requested a quieter pitch if possible, knowing that this would be tricky as we were booking last minute in high season. We had prompt email confirmation of our request and on arrival day, the managing director himself rang to say that they had reserved us a quieter pitch, but that they could also offer us an alternative pitch in their overflow camping area. When we arrived on site, the managing director took the time to show us the two possible pitches and then, and vitally importantly for our children, he gave them the time and space to decide which pitch was better suited to their needs. They picked the suggested corner pitch which allowed us to ‘hole up’ and made a huge difference in keeping the kids calm when the wind picked up and the tent started flapping, something that they both find very difficult to deal with in the garden at home, never mind on a campsite. The accessible bathrooms were immaculate and fit for purpose and our Blue Badge meant that we were issued with a medical permit so we could park our car on the pitch. Thank you Stubcroft for being SO accommodating and autism/ADHD aware. We will definitely be back!

Stubcroft – excellent campsite ideally located near the sea. Stubcroft is a welcoming campsite that has given me, particularly as a solo camper, the most wonderful experience in a well-run, spacious and ideally located destination. From the initial phone call with Natalie, to the incredibly friendly team that greeted me and were always around, I felt that I was staying in a campsite that was a cut above many others. Despite being fully booked when I visited the second time, there was plenty of space and campers were clearly enjoying their stay – those around me included families with children, couples and friends that were travelling together. When it comes to cleanliness, they maintain a very high standard and the facilities are excellent including the showers and bathrooms, fire pits and barbeques for hire, basic supplies in the shop, and overall quality of the grounds. I have stayed at Stubcroft twice and will definitely be back!

A Little Gem! We had the best weekend camping with our daughter & granddaughter at Stubcroft Farm Campsite. The staff were so welcoming really helpful when we arrived. Everything is very well organised & the showers & family showers were all extremely clean. BBQs & fire pits are available & you can buy burgers & sausages from the little shop, plus plenty of other things. They also have a freezer that you can use to freeze your ice packs, which was really useful. We pitched our tent in Willow Field which was lovely & the tents are spaced out really well. Plenty of space on the field for the children to run around & play. Definitely a great place to camp with a family. It’s also only about a 20 minute walk to the beach. We can’t recommend this more highly. Loved every minute here and will definitely be coming back to this amazing campsite.

Excellent campsite, lovely staff! Stubcroft is such a lovely campsite, we can’t wait to return next year! We stayed for 3 nights as a much needed break to the country. Stubcroft Farm have won so many awards and you can tell everyone is well deserved. The communication prior to arrival is clear and on arrival, you receive the friendliest welcome I’ve ever experienced. It is really straight forward to find your pitch and amenities block is close enough to all pitches. Quiet time was observed by all campers which makes such a difference as well. The beach/pub/restaurants are a pleasant 20 minutes’ walk from the site and you can also buy all your essentials on-site. There wasn’t a single negative to this stay or this site and highly recommend!
My family and I had five fantastic and relaxing nights at Stubcroft Farm Campsite. The staff are friendly and helpful, the toilets and showers were cleaned every day, the Campsite is well looked after, the shop in the reception has many variety. Wunderschön gelegener Campingplatz mit einem sehr, sehr netten Team. Wohlfühlfaktor 100 %! Großzügige Stellplätze mit Strom & Trinkwasser, supersaubere Sanitäranlagen. Direkt vom Camp kann man sich Feuerkörbe und Holz ausleihen und einen kleinen Shop gibt’s auch 😃 Zu den Strönden führen Fusswege über Felder. In Wittering gibt’s kleine Shops, Cafés und Supermärkte. Uns hat’s so gut gefallen, dass wir noch eine Nacht länger geblieben sind.
We enjoyed a wonderful stay at Stubcroft Farm Campsite. The campsite was very clean and well managed. They certainly care about standards. The majority of the staff are really warm, friendly and welcoming. We really like the policy of parking cars away from the tents in the car park. That made the camp feel safer and ‘greener’ as well as create a more communal feeling to the place. It is always good to see children running and cartwheeling free from the coming and going of vehicles. We also really enjoyed being able to have camp fires. That really added to the experience.

We returned two weeks after our first visit. Our second visit was just as good as the first! The only thing to add to the previous review is that we enjoyed sitting outside our tent after dark watching the night sky and seeing the Milky Way and shooting stars.
Have stayed at Stubcroft camp site many times over the last few years. Staff are always friendly and helpful, camp site is kept clean and tidy, and very ecologically friendly. Pitches are a good size and well laid out. Facilities are one of the best we have seen on campsites, always immaculately clean and well maintained. Stubcroft is in easy reach of Bracklesham and East Wittering village with plenty of shops, places to eat and nice beaches. We are looking forward to our next stay soon.
Great stay at Stubcroft. I really enjoyed my stay at Stubcroft Farm. Staff were very friendly and helpful and the campsite was very well organised. The toilets and shower block were very clean and the shower was nice and hot. Each pitch was a good size.
A family and dog friendly campsite with helpful and friendly staff. Stubcroft Farm Campsite is a very clean facility with hot showers, toilets, washing machines, charging lockers for phones (etc.), shop and even a fridge freezer available for use. We had a standard sized pitch in Willows field which left us with loads of space and plenty of room for our child to play with the other children. Sinks for washing dishes and drinkable water were located at the end of the pitch. There were also compost toilets located there as well if you didn’t want to walk a few minutes to the amenities building. We rented a fire pit for the evenings. It was delivered along with the wood right to our pitch and more wood delivered the following evening. Many other campers had brought their dogs. There were no issues or concerns as a non dog owner. All dogs that we were introduced to were very friendly and playful. We took the foot path to East Wittering on the day of arrival. It is a lovely walk where you can see a hidden old stone church and graveyard. Further along, there are a couple alpacas, though they do not like dogs or being pet. It was a good walk to stretch our legs and nip to the shops and restaurants. We did stop by the beach, which is a stone beach, for a look. Highly recommend this campsite!

Had a fantastic break here. Very nicely laid out campsite with nice flat pitches. Compost toilets if you want to embrace nature or a spotlessly clean toilet and shower block if you prefer home comforts.
Very well run site, staff were all really helpful and seemed to care that you had a good time. Liked that there weren’t too many rules, no shouty signs! Everywhere was clean and tidy and vibe was relaxed. Looking forward to going again.

Really nice site, great facilities, friendly staff. We only stayed one night in the XL field with a 4 man tent meaning we had lots of space, we rented a bbq which was a reasonable £6, but they have lovely fire pits as well available which we will get next time. Check out and in was simple and effective. Free fresh herbs, showers were always free, washing facilities. Well-kept site no rubbish. Lovely area. A short walk to east wittering but town is close with nice places to eat, west witting about a 40mins walk but a beautiful beach! Overall well prices, great site, good staff, easy, enjoyable, effective. Thanks

Friendly, clean and peaceful! We don’t often go camping, but we really enjoyed staying at Stubcroft Farm. Everything was neatly laid out. The toilet and showers were new and clean. There was a nice, friendly atmosphere. Having unloaded, it was good having cars in a parking area, rather than next to everyone’s tents. Nice location not too far from beaches. We walked to one and drove to the other the next day.
Excellent two night stay at Stubcroft farm, spotlessly clean facilities, very friendly and helpful staff and the mobile phone charging lockers are brilliant. Love that the children can run around freely and enjoy the open spaces! Thank you, we will definitely be back before the summer is over! PS – the shop is a treasure trove of useful bits and the guys make a wonderful cuppa tea!!
Great location within easy walking distance of the beaches (we went on a lovely long walk through East and West Wittering), good grass pitches with plenty of room, clean toilets and showers, useful shop and extremely friendly and helpful staff on reception that created a lovely impression of the place when we arrived. Highly recommended.

Honestly, everything you could want for a small and personal campsite. Stubcroft feels homely and welcoming, friendly staff and lots of little extras including home grown herbs that you can pick for your food, beach clean equipment that you can get from the staff and lots of little signs around about their eco-friendly side of the business. It is clean, great showers and toilet facilities, clean washing up area, great little tuck shop and well maintained pitches. Will definitely return for a nice and relaxing break and thankfully, it’s only an hour from us so nice and easy to visit.

We spent three nights here during Goodwood Festival of Speed. The campsite is really nice. It had everything you need for a perfect holiday. It is clean, quiet, the staff is very friendly. Will definitely come back when revisiting England!

What a find! Absolutely delighted to have found this peaceful gem of a campsite. Within easy walking distance of the super beaches at both East and West Wittering, or indeed the quieter bits in between. Stubcroft Farm has undoubtedly become my new favourite site and I cannot wait to return. From the wonderful, accommodating staff (I was a late arrival yet still made to feel very welcome), to the well-stocked camp shop, immaculately clean shower and toilet facilities, laundry room and washing up area, all the things one would hope to find are there. However, what sets this site above others for me are the care and thought that have gone into the added extras. Marked out, individual pitches are nestled into beautifully hedged, secluded camping fields so that you have plenty of space to call your own. There are fire pits and barbecues to hire and dry wood and kindling to buy, saving you loading your vehicle to the gunnels or having to leave Granny at home. Recycling and water conservation are actively encouraged as there are composting toilets for those game enough to forego the sparkly indoor variety, and recycling bags given out to all visitors on arrival. If you’re headed anywhere near this lovely part of the south coast, please give Stubcroft Farm, this friendly, cosy, peaceful haven, a try.
Lovely campsite. From the moment we arrived until the moment we left, the staff were incredibly helpful and the campsite was run brilliantly well. The new toilet facilities and shower block are lovely. The pitch size we had was massive. Don’t be put off that you can’t park your car next to the pitch. You can for setting up and taking down so it isn’t a problem. And actually, everyone agreed, not having cars all over the field made it look tidier, more friendly and the kids had plenty of space to play away from tents etc and with no fear of hitting cars. Wonderful site, I hope to be back.
My friends and I had a fantastic weekend in your campsite. This is one of the most clean campings I have seen ( and I have been in many), which it was a super plus for us. We loved the idea of cars being parked outside, making the whole camping experience fantastic. Great to see groups of people, families… This is very good because in many places groups are not allowed; to camp with friends is a fantastic experience, so thank you so much for providing this option. This is a really complete camping site, with lots of options ( firepits, shop, tv, drinks….) and everything really well organized. All very comfortable and really, really friendly and nice staff. Congratulations! We definitely will come back very very soon.

Absolute hidden gem of a campsite, we decided to camp here while we attended Goodwood Festival of speed as its only half hour away. We were not disappointed! Beautiful site with generous pitches, options of electric and hard standing all reasonably priced .Friendliest staff that couldn’t be more helpful, good onsite shop with plenty of parking. The cleanest facilities I’ve ever been to and the best shower I’ve had at a site in years! Will 100% be booking again if we’re in the area, thank you

We had a fabulous stay at this campsite. We stayed in the overflow area. The campsite is so well organised. The shower blocks are lovely and are extremely clean. There is a well-equipped shop. Would definitely go back super staff & facilities excellent. I stayed at Stubcroft with my 2 dogs & old VW Van it was the first time away in the van for the 2 dogs, so I chose Stubcroft as I wanted somewhere that was very dog friendly. It all went great, there were a few other people with dogs but everyone on the site, staff & other guests were all super friendly. The toilets & showers are spotless can’t fault them, I also had a slight problem with my electric hookup so I rang, a very helpful guy turned up within 5 minutes and sorted it out for me, all the staff were very friendly & helpful

A gem amongst campsites. Brilliant place to stay. Within 20 minutes’ walk to town and beach and on a regular bus route to Chichester which is a lovely city to visit. Don’t mis visiting the cathedral and its gardens. Stubcroft Farm has superb facilities, very clean and modern. The staff are also very clean and modern – seriously nice people. Nothing is too much trouble for them. Highly recommended.

We had a wonderful overnight stay at Stubcroft & used it as a base to have a celebratory solstice sunrise swim. The campsite is clean and well run, with excellent facilities and very friendly and knowledgeable staff. We loved that it was quiet overnight. The 20minute walk to the beach is via a county lane – so nice and safe and away from any traffic. A wonderful spot – and I will be returning with the family..

Had a lovely stay here as the staff are very accommodating and is in a lovely location.
They pride themselves on clean showers and toilets (and you can tell). They have superb grass pitches. The staff are wonderful, a small shop on site, a pizza van visits on a Friday and there are well placed washing up sinks. You can pick wild berries on the walk to the beach, eat some of the most delicious fish and chips whilst you’re there! If you’re looking for a clean, well-maintained English campsite near the sea, then definitely stay here.
Loved it! My friends and I visited Stubcroft Farm Campsite two weekends ago and we were very impressed! The campsite is situated in a brilliant location, a 20 minute walk from East-Wittering where there are lots of shops and restaurants, as-well as a beach of course! The staff are all really friendly and made an allowance for our group to come when it suited us best, which was so appreciated! Their toilet block, washing up and shop area is very modern and clean – likely the best camping toilets I have ever used! They also have Eco – Toilets for the more adventurous, which are closer to the pitches and perfectly adequate for use. There is a shop on-site which sells all the necessities and you are able to hire BBQ’s and firepits. Couldn’t ask for a better experience, thank you!

Great location, great facilities and great staff
Wonderful campsite. This was our third visit to Stubcroft. I would say it is the be best campsite we have stayed at. The staff were so friendly and bent over backwards to help. We had asked for a particular pitch. We arrived early and with luck our pitch had been vacated so we were able to pitch our tent. It is a 15 minute walk to East Wittering where there is plenty of pubs, restaurants and grocery shops.
The brilliant reviews help us decide to book this campsite and we weren’t disappointed! Our son uses a wheelchair and the disabled facilities were well thought out and super clean. We would recommend to others with reduced mobility. There was always plenty of staff on hand who were very friendly and happy to help. The campsite itself was very well presented. Its location for us was ideal as there were footpaths to Bracklesham, and East Wittering, plus easy walking on to West Wittering to pick up the Salterns Way to Itchenor. We met the owner of the site, Mr Green, who was very friendly, wanted to know how we got on with the facilities as he is keen to encourage other wheelchair users to the site to enjoy the great outdoors. We were able to confirm it got a BIG thumbs up from us!!

Excellent site. Can recommend. Me, my husband and Suki, our Border Terrier, spent 3 nights at this site and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Superb facilities and well stocked shop, selling BBQ meats, as well as many basic items. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff, and the pitches well sited and laid out. We will surely return in the very near future!

Kulas campers!! This campsite is one of the best I’ve been to. The staff without exception were all amazing and could not have been more helpful. Cars have to be left in car park after set up which makes it much safer for children. Facilities are great, showers have separate cubicles flush toilets as well as eco-friendly. The site is very well maintained and flat spacious pitches. Thanks for a wonderful experience and for an old camper we had fun with our grandchildren. Many thanks.
Had a great time, I was trying out camper-van life with 2 dogs who’d never done it before. Can’t fault the site, the facilities were outstanding, one of the best sites I’ve stayed at. All the staff were super friendly & helpful, nothing was too much trouble, can’t recommend it highly enough 😊

Walks to local villages were well signposted with plenty of places to eat and explore the coastline. Would definitely return to this little gem in the countryside.

We arrived late on the Friday and we felt welcomed straight away, we was upgraded a pitch which was very kind, thank you for that really appreciate it. A beautiful friendly site. This is a lovely site just outside East Wittering. The staff are very friendly, welcoming and helpful and the facilities are excellent. We had a few days here, which was our first break without our children, but it’s a great place for families and the site shop is handy if you run out of the basics.
I absolutely love this campsite! I’ve probably been about 10 times now, it’s so well run and the staff and owners are so thoughtful. Great pitches, lovely loos, fires for those who want them and nice and quiet in the evenings. It’s a 20 min walk into East Wittering, and so do easy to go into Chichester as the bus stop is right at the end of the lane. Or you can just sit and enjoy the peace and quiet.
Best campsite! We stayed at Stubcroft Farm for the first time over the Easter weekend with our Labrador, Stanley. Due to the amount of rain, it was difficult for us to put our awning up, but Simon and Michaela went out of their way to enable us to put the awning up. This is the friendliest and most helpful campsite we’ve ever stayed at…..all the staff were so lovely. The facilities are brilliant and so clean, we couldn’t have asked for more. The site is well positioned in that it is lovely and peaceful, but within walking distance for West Wittering, East Wittering and Bracklesham Bay. Can’t recommend this campsite enough and we will certainly be staying there again. Thank you to everyone at Stubcroft Farm
Superb site with a great team. We stayed for the whole of Easter we were joined by my daughter and grandchildren, we requested pitches near to each other, the request was honoured as we were on pitches 13/14, brilliant. During our stay we met most of the camp team, each of them were friendly and helpful. Also the owner popped around a couple of times he was also friendly. The site is very nice there’s plenty of room it’s a very clean site, well looked after by the team. Shower block is a very good standard much better than some of the C&CC sites. Perfect – Beautiful, peaceful campsite. Short walk to the beach. Great bus service, we caught the bus to and from Chichester, lovely town. Shower/toilet block exceptionally clean and warm. Shower rooms very spacious and plentiful hot water. Staff were delightful, friendly and very helpful. We will definitely visit again.

This is a brilliant site. Although everywhere was so wet after all the rain our hard standing pitch was great. The amenity block is super clean and pleasant. The staff were super helpful too. It’s a great location for a peaceful break – lovely site, country walks, good local pubs and of course the beaches at the Witterings. We can’t wait to go back again.

We stayed for 3 nights, and this is our second visit here. The site is ideally situated near both Bracklesham Bay and the Witterings. Easy walking to both. The bus stops at the end of the lane for Chichester. The facilities are first class, and the owners are very welcoming. We will definitely be returning.

Quiet, rural & friendly. We squeezed in one more trip just before Christmas! Campsite is down a long farm track and was super quiet. Very friendly staff who were expecting us and gave us a helpful map of walks to the beach. Lovely to be able to have a campfire which meant we could sit outside despite being December! Facilities were super clean. Would definitely recommend.
We recently had our first visit to Stubcroft Farm, and it definitely won’t be our last. We received great communication and information prior to arriving, and the most friendly, warm and welcoming arrival, despite it being minus degrees, dark, cold, wet and late in the day. Staff where amazing, friendly, approachable and made us feel very welcome after a 300 mile drive from the North. The amenities where outstanding, and super clean. We loved our little Winter break in our campervan and will be using this site as our base for all future visits down South. Thanks again to the amazing staff 🙂
Our first time hiring a motorhome and we wanted to find somewhere easy for us to get used to it and Stubcroft was great – easy to find and the staff were super friendly and helpful. Good facilities with clean toilet/ shower block etc. 20 minute walk to East Wittering beach on mostly decent roads with path (small bit of country lane but not a main road so very limited traffic) – can’t go wrong. Would definitely recommend and our experience will definitely have us hiring another motorhome soon!
Last minute trip out in the Motorhome, wanted to explore East / West Wittering and found this site on this website. Really easy to book and videos showing the facilities. Michela was fantastic helping us settle in. Washroom, toilets and showers were all incredibly clean and in great condition and most importantly in November all very warm! Pitch was amazing with a gravel standing and grass verge with plenty of EHU points. There was also a very reasonably priced shop on site with all the bits you’d need. About 1km walk off road to the beaches which we really enjoyed.

Exceptionally enjoyable stay. The Site was perfectly located and equipped as well as being uncomplicated but hugely functional. The facilities were excellent and the Staff were extremely accommodating and attentive. Perfect walking distance for access to the beach and all East Wittering Village amenities. Very Dog friendly both on site and the surrounding area. For me and the dogs it was an exceptionally pleasant stay despite the weather. Will be booking again in Feb 2024 to enjoy it again with my Wife in tow on this occasion.

They were there if you want help but left me to it mostly, perfect! Clean site, good clean facilities and plenty of water taps and bins etc.. Absolutely lovely site. Cleanest amenities I have ever seen on a camp site. It was like the fairies had been in and cleaned. Absolutely spotless. There wasn’t a blade of grass out of place on the site. Staff were very pleasant and could not do enough to make our stay great. Would highly recommend this. Will be back soon.
The campsite was well maintained and the facilities were clean. The staff were so friendly and helpful. They really did bend over backwards to help us when our son had been ill. We will definitely be returning.
Fantastic site with a warm welcome. This is a campsite run by the most helpful and generous couple you could hope to meet. We are fairly new to camping and weren’t sure about camping so late in the year, and they even went and checked the pitch for us to make sure it was not too soft before we left home. Just came back from a wonderful stay at Stubcroft Farm Campsite. I can honestly say it’s the best yet. From the moment of booking to arrival the service we received was amazing….so happy cheerful and helpful and this continued throughout our trip. The site is beautiful and so peaceful it’s not commercial you can just escape. The shower and toilet facilities are spotless. We were able to get logs for a fire which was just perfect. And to make the weekend even better they let us stay on site longer to enjoy our time there. Really dog friendly….lots of dogs on site. We will be back…. thankyou
Wonderful friendly well managed site with excellent facilities and care for the environment. Very friendly owners Simon & Michaela, and wonderful friendly, helpful wardens Sue & her husband; nothing was too much trouble; they are all very lovely people & all genuinely want guests to enjoy their stay and are so helpful. Lovely level clean short cut grass pitches easy to put pegs into & comfy to sleep on; five discrete fields divided by beautiful wildlife friendly hedges. Immaculately clean facilities & very well maintained, accessible facilities excellent; great lighting around amenities block at night; wi-fi near reception. Lovely hedges & trees around the site great for nature, I enjoyed listening to tawny owls at night. Site well away from roads so very quiet, 1 mile walk to E Wittering & coast so can enjoy a car free experience.
Our favourite campsite! We just love coming to Stubcroft! Simon and Michaela and the rest of the staff do an amazing job of making everyone feel at home in a clean, organised campsite. The atmosphere is lovely and its vicinity to the beach makes it the perfect place to stay!

Another great weekend. Excellent site open 12 months a year. Helpful staff great clean facilities. Easy access to local restaurants, walks and beaches. Very pretty location. Been here many times always a delight. There is hard standing and grass pitches with electric hook up if you require. Fire pits are allowed and available for rent with logs if you haven’t brought your own.

Fabulous site. Clean, well-appointed, really nice friendly people. We went out of season so it’s possible that it might get busy in the showers in peak season, but fundamentally spotless. Nice easy 20 min walk to the beach. Nothing to be improved really.
Great little find, amazingly friendly staff, excellent facilities and incredibly clean, staff could not be more formative and helpful. Nice to have the facility to hire a firepit and buy kindling & wood, in fact fires and bbqs are encouraged 🙂 which makes a change from a lot of sites we visit. Location was great for us as we have 2 dogs and there’s a lovely safe 15/20 minute walk to the beach. There’s also lots of other walks in the area. Nice touch offering ‘pick free herbs for your cooking by reception’. Excellent welcome and really nice they take time to say goodbye as you leave. An absolute gem and we will be back.🙂

Perfect campsite. Lovely showers and toilets, spotlessly clean, level, well maintained pitches. Plenty of space. Peaceful. 15 minute walk to the beach mostly on a footpath. Walked home in the dark with a torch as path is excellent. Really friendly staff and owner came to check we were settled in. Great all round.
One last camping trip before winter. From the moment I booked until we left the staff on site went above and beyond. A wonderful site really friendly and helpful…. very dog friendly…peace and quiet …great walks to the beach. The facilities on site were spotless my favourite site by far.

From the start, the service was great. We had a quick phone call before we had to check in to check our arrival time and give some instructions. The site is clean, tidy and facilities were immaculate. There were friendly staff and informative too. Our hardstanding pitch was great, an extra having fresh drinking water behind the pitch was not expected but great, especially for the dogs. We are definitely looking forward to coming back for another visit.

Home from home 💕 This is our favourite campsite by far. First visited 2 years ago and now compare every site we visit with Stubcroft! No one else meets their standards. The place is immaculate, exceptionally clean and well maintained. What really makes it though, are the staff. They make you feel like you’re part of the family and they genuinely care that you have a good stay. There are a few small fields at Stubcroft which makes for a real communal feel. Every pitch backs onto a hedge so you have privacy around your pitch. The location is perfect for us, we park up the campervan and have no need to drive anywhere (although plenty of places to drive to if you wish.) We walk into East Wittering with its array of shops, cafes and restaurants, sit on the beach or walk along the beach to West Wittering or Bracklesham Bay. Definitely worth a visit.

Great site – I’ll be back! This was my first trip away in my new camper van. I was quite nervous about the whole thing. That nervousness disappeared upon arrival at Stubcroft – Even though I rolled up quite late on a Friday, the team could not have been more friendly and helpful. As a site, it’s really well positioned and nice and relaxed. We used it as a base for cycling, of which there is plenty of choice with some cracking pub stops. It’s really secure, I had no concerns about leaving my new van there, or about leaving my bike outside the van overnight. The facilities are great – Really well kept. Nice warm showers always a winner! Will definitely be back.
What a marvellous campsite! Everything was fantastic during our 5 days here, right down to the (completely unexpected) heat wave that we had! The staff is amazing, so friendly and helpful and always willing to chat. It is also the cleanest site we have ever stayed at. The showers, toilets, and even the washing up area were always kept clean. It was great to have the shop on site for those mornings when we wanted a coffee and didn’t feel like making one! We also took advantage of the fire pit rental and it was very relaxing to sit out at night with a fire and enjoy the peace and quiet. An added bonus was the fact that you could walk to the East Wittering restaurants, shops, and beach in 20 minutes. We did a lot of walking in the area, taking advantage of the coastal path and it was a great experience.
The loveliest of campsites run by the lovliest of people! This is our third year running staying at Stubcroft Farm and, most certainly, won’t be our last. It’s a fabulous place! The site, the location and the team that run it – all 5*++++ Everything is spotlessly clean. The pitch sizes are large and very well kept. Our dog loved every minute too! Bracklesham Bay and East Wittering are all within an easy walk. Both have stunning beaches which, when the tide is out, have expanse of sand. East Wittering has all the convenient shops you could possibly want. The site is quiet, allows firepits and is just the perfect place to relax…. There’s nothing I can think of to change expect staying longer next time – We didn’t want to leave!
Excellent campsite with friendly & helpful team members. Grounds were well kept and facilities including bathroom & showers in a clean condition. Spotless! There was a pleasant environment amongst the other guests and I look forward to visiting again!

Just a Wonderful site. I am now starting to lose count of my trips to Stubcroft Farm. It’s just a great site, spotlessly clean, super large pitches, great facilities in a beautiful peaceful farm surroundings but no distance to travel to the beach or in to Chichester. There is something about the place that makes you feel very special whilst there. The staff are wonderful, so friendly and helpful and as a lone traveller I always feel safe and know that if I did have any problems they would try and help. Lovely for the dog with lots of walks and wildlife. Would not hesitate to recommend to nice people.
Just back from second weekend in a row. Lovely campsite in a great location for easy access to beaches. Nowhere near a road so nice and quiet. Lovely modern clean facilities. Plus, best thing, super friendly helpful staff. Could not ask for more. We will be back.
Weekend away. Just returned from two days in wonderful sunshine at the campsite. It was one of the best campsites I have been to. Beautifully kept, very clean, very friendly staff and they have literally thought of everything.. I could not fault it xx
Had a brilliant time at this campsite. It has a perfect position with a 20 minute walk to Bracklesham Bay, and East Wittering village/beach. It took 40 minutes to walk to West Wittering. We stayed on a hard standing/grassed area with our folding camper. The facilities were great. The showers were always hot and everything kept very clean and tidy. The staff were super friendly and couldn’t do enough for you. Will definitely be visiting again.
Just got back from 2 nights at Stubcroft, all I can say is that it was excellent. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff and they were all so friendly. Everything was beautifully kept, showers and toilets were spotless. We will definitely be coming back and bringing our fellow campers 😊 Don’t change a thing, you have nailed it.
Hele fijne en goed onderhouden camping met zeer vriendelijk personeel. Het is een prachtige camping, zeer schoon en goed georganiseerd. De ligging tot het strand is heel goed. 15 minuten lopen en 5 minuten met de fiets. Daarnaast heb je prachtige wandel- en fietsroutes. Goodwood ganger? Nog geen half uur van het circuit!

Warmly welcoming clean & tidy campsite with excellent green credentials & nearby swimming beach! Never have I turned up at a campsite with my caravan to such a warm and friendly reception. This continued throughout my 10 day late summer stay. The team bent over backwards to ensure my friends also felt welcomed even though we didn’t book as a group (we should have & will do in future). I had random pals pitching up throughout my time all loved it too. There’s loads of space & fabulously clean toilet and shower facilities (cleaned several times a day). There’s an excellent green ethos, I was given a recycling bag on arrival & there are also compost loos in the camping fields. The beach is 15 minutes walk away, but that keeps the place special & I was in the sea morning & evening. A well-stocked shop is a treat when feeling too lazy to go into one or other of the two walking distance villages for supplies. I’ll definitely be back!
Superb campsite, very well organised. Facilities are really well looked after and the staff are fantastic at running the place smoothly. BBQ rental is really worth it. And it’s only a few minutes to the beach and a number of really good local pubs. The place is also dog friendly. This is the way a campsite should be done!
Friendly clean campsite. This is one of the friendliest campsites we have stayed at. The staff particularly Terry, his wife (sorry I can’t remember the name) and Lou were an asset to the campsite. Nothing was too much trouble for them and always had time for a chat. The campsite was well maintained and clean. The showers were always spotless whatever time of day you went in them. Great site, friendly staff. We had a group booking of 3 families. The communication to set this up was clear and friendly. The site itself is very clean and welcoming. Great campsite! I booked Stubcroft Farm for myself and a group of friends and would definitely go back. From beginning to end, the staff were so friendly and helpful. We were able to hire a BBQ and a campfire which was ideal as we couldn’t fit anything else in the cars! Toilets and showers were so clean, and barely a queue to use the showers. Amazing location, within walking distance of the beach with a lovely view of Portsmouth and The Isle of Wight. West Wittering also has a lovely beach about a 10 minute drive away from the campsite. I would highly recommend to others!!
Superb campsite in a lovely location near to our favourite beaches. We were lucky that our stay coincided with some early September sunshine and warm temperatures which gave the sandy beaches an almost “Mediterranean feel, more like summer than autumn. The campsite is laid out in several secluded paddocks so every pitch backed onto mature hedges & trees which gave a nice feeling of privacy. We were impressed with the modern facilities which were kept immaculately clean during our stay. The really outstanding “jewel in the crown” of this site was definitely the friendly staff, nothing was too much trouble and they even delivered a firepit & logs to the pitch. It was a short 10-15 minute walk to the local beaches & village which had a good range of shops and places to eat, highly recommend The Boulevard for reasonable prices and good portions. We will definitely be back next year.
Lovely Friendly Campsite. Excellent facilities, very clean. Lovely staff, really great campsite. We don’t camp often but we’re extremely impressed with the setup, the pitches, the amount of staff on hand to help and how clean it all was. Fab showers etc.

Excellent! Stubcroft Farm Campsite is a fantastic place. Staff are very friendly and the place is very clean. We had a great stay and we would definitely return!
Perfection in a camp site. Friendly greeting lots of information to help you enjoy your stay. Flat pitches throughout. Hedges to help protect you. The staff are always around to ensure places are clean and grounds are kept spotless. Toilets A* Showers A* always hot water, whatever time of day. Even though it’s been a busy weekend. They handle it all exceptionally well. And you’re not crammed in you have a very nice pitch side and car park to leave cars so they are not left on the field. So children and play happily and safely. We have visited 4 sites this year and this is definitely top to return. Local walk approx. 20 mins to beach and shops. The interaction the staff have with the campers is amazing. Fire pits and barbecue can be hired and wood and kindling available to buy, which they then deliver to your tent.
This surely is THE most friendly campsite we’ve experienced in our life. Terry , Martin, Simon, Michaela and all the other wonderful staff members have been absolute amazing for us. When we arrived with rain pouring and a broken down caravan which we dragged behind our car for the last 200 meters, they have taken us in like family. Martijn and Terry first tried to see if they could fix the brakes of the caravan (later turned out it was the bearings) and after that they helped us pushing the caravan with a pallet truck to the campsite. Michaela took care of our two little boys by giving them warm chocolate milk and she dried our bedsheets for us which had gone all wet of course.
During the rest of the week they were ever so friendly and we had good and fun chats with all of them. They kept asking if things were going okay with repairs which were done by EJ’s Motor services. We couldn’t have been at a better site whilst we were having these problems. And besides their involvement it’s also a fantastic site anyway. Great spots, everything spot on and clean and the beach is nearby. We look back to our stay with gratitude and a knowing that besides our break down with the caravan we had a brilliant week!
Great campsite for all. Camping perfection, decent flat fields with hedges for protection , well organized, all though busy when we visit ( our 3rd time) , the site handles it all very well, good location and the toilet shower block is very good . Where the site excels is the staff they are always available, working hard to keep the site tidy and guests happy, we will be back I am sure. A good site for anyone, even if you are first time camper this site has everything you need and more. An award winning site and you can definitely see why.
Just what we were looking for. Clean, well-organised friendly campsite. Small shop selling a good range of products. Fire pits for hire and wood sold at a reasonable price. Local shops and restaurants a short drive away or a 20 min walk. Great for our long weekend stay. We will be back!

During my recent excursion to Stubcroft Farm Campsite, I had the pleasure of sharing the experience with my close friends and my son. The trip proved to be truly exceptional and left a lasting impression.

Love it! Will go again and again! Love this place and would highly recommend it, even for first time campers!! This was my second stay at Stubcroft with my daughter and the first time taking my husband whose last camping trip was when he was 12 and he hated it so it was tough getting him to agree to come. But we had the best time, the staff as always were fabulous namely Terry and his wife Sarah and of cause the others always friendly (genuinely so) as a black family you are always conscious of not putting your family in an environment where they are made to feel uncomfortable and at Stubcroft farm we were just another family, made to feel welcome and there was nothing that they wouldn’t do to ensure we had everything we needed. Even the lovely staff member who sorted out the ant’s nest near our pitch, we had only just mentioned it and they were there sorting it out before we got back to the pitch. I learnt a few lessons from last time like bringing kitchen wipes and a dish towel, soap liquid and a sponge to wash up. Bringing warm clothes for a chilly night, and extra batteries for torches. Bottle opener etc as we got a few things wrong the first time. This time we did the whole bbq and stove for cooking every morning and evening so we felt like we were fully into it. The pitch was great, other families were friendly and happy to chat. And the facilities were always clean and so useful, they have thought of everything!! Even down to a herb garden if you don’t bring all of your seasonings. Roasting marshmallows and making s’mores was my daughters fav bit, Love it!
Fantastic stay – again. Stubcroft is a fantastic camp site. Really friendly helpful staff. One of the cleanest toilet blocks in any campsite we’ve stayed. Great pitches – level. A well-stocked site shop. A short walk to Bracklesham – where you can hunt for fossils on the beach or a similar walk into East Wittering with a great selection of local shops. We have stayed at Stubcroft many different times throughout the year – it’s always welcoming and friendly. Looking forward to our next visit.

Beautiful welcoming spot. Great welcome, lovely pitch and modern clean facilities. It’s a stroll to East Wittering and we got the bus to Chichester and had a great day out. The Eco friendly family focus at the heart of Stubcroft makes we go back again and again!
Friendly, welcoming with great facilities. This was our first time camping at Stubcroft Farm. We booked over the phone and the member of staff who booked us in helped us to find the right pitch for us and we found them extremely helpful. The website is also very informative. When booking we explained that our son had additional needs and they must have made a note of this because when we checked in they straight away showed us the accessible bathrooms that he could use. We appreciated this as often we have to ask/explain his needs which can be tiring.
The campsite facilities are great quality, clean and regularly checked and well maintained. The pitches are a nice size, The camp shop was very useful selling local produce. You can hire BBQs and Fire pits from them. There is a fridge/freezer you can use to re-freeze ice packs etc for a donation. Music playing in the washing up room and bathrooms. 2 accessible/family shower rooms. Never waited for a shower. Charging stations for electrics. 50p currently for the hair dryer and there is a plug socket for 50p charge next to it. There was a local pizza van there on the Friday that looked like it did very nice pizzas. Good recycling facilities- they are an eco-friendly campsite.
The best thing about the campsite is the friendly nature of the staff. You feel very welcome there, staff stop and chat to see how your stay is going etc and cannot do enough for you. At times you could not bring your car up to the tent due to the ground being wet but there was a member of staff whizzing about with a trailer offering to transport things to and from your car. Cars are kept at a carpark near the entrance and not by tents. We liked this because the campsite was vehicle free and there was a lot of space for kids to play.
We went as a family but noticed there were quite a few groups. This was great to see as we have found it tricky in the past to find a campsite that allows this when wanting to camp with others. The groups were all really respectful and noise stopped around 10.30pm – not that it was bad. The campsite offer a number to text/call if you are disturbed and they will help but this was not needed. I also believe they do a walk around. This means that groups and families have a fair deal – people can camp with their friends but others aren’t disturbed late into the night. We think it is fair to say this is the best run campsite we have been to and we will return. Thank you.
Really well run. Staff extremely helpful and friendly. Lovely site and good attention to detail on things like recycling and pallets under the water tap. Lots of local information and a great location for the beaches. The showers and main toilets were so clean and the compost toilet was really clean too! All in all a great weekend! Would definitely stay again.
Been going to Stubcroft on and off for few years now. Lovely clean site and I must say Terry and Martin really helped us out as we forgot our pump for air tent without them it would of been a disaster well done stubcroft you have really good happy friendly staff.

Perfect location for a catch up with my brother and sister and their families – great facilities and sheltered spot in easy reach of beaches and lovely restaurants too. Fantastic friendly family run campsite. My daughter and I stayed here last week for some end of uni R&R. I have been camping for over 35 years and can honestly say I have never stayed in a more perfect place! The owners and all staff are so friendly and can’t do enough to be helpful, the site is spotlessly clean the toilets and showers are amazing, even washing up was a pleasure!
We walked down to East Wittering and Bracklesham Bay every day, a lovely easy walk to both. Definitely recommend Drift in for breakfast and very dog friendly! We will be returning, thank you so much for having us.
I’ve always loved camping but this has changed my view of it completely. All the staff are so welcoming, the area is beautiful and all the facilities available are incredible! All my friends felt so safe to be here and loved it so much we want to come back.

Another lovely stay! A favourite campsite with great facilities and friendly staff! There’s an excellent shop, showers and loos are clean and environmentally friendly. From East Wittering beach, about 25m walk away, are lovely walks along the coast in both directions – and don’t forget to visit the Bracklesham Bay tearooms for a cream tea!

We’d heard very positive comments about camping at Stubcroft so we decided to venture all of five miles down the road to see what all the fuss was about. The campsite has a relaxed rural setting yet it’s only a 20 minute walk to Bracklesham Bay and a 20 minute cycle ride to West Wittering Beach, so no need to use the campervan for transport once pitched up. Modern clean facilities kept in pristine condition by very friendly and helpful staff. Strong emphasis on sustainability and environmental awareness. Loved the re-cycling bags and pick your own herb pots. Thank you Team Stubcroft, we will return!
Perfect introduction to outdoor life. First time camping in a hired camper and Stubcroft Farm was the perfect introduction to outdoor life. From the moment we rocked up 3hrs early & the wonderful team (special big shout to Sarah) found a way to accommodate us to answering all the mundane questions we had during the weekend, we couldn’t have been made to feel more welcome. Lovely clean facilities, a nice, relaxed vibe & the feeling you were ‘off grid’ despite being just 15 mins walk from good amenities in Bracklesham Bay & East Wittering. We will definitely be recommending to friends and family as well. Thank you for making our first camping experience such a memorable, enjoyable one!
An outstanding campsite with 5* facilities and extremely helpful staff. We are always made to feel welcome so we can relax and have fun. Plenty of space around tents for the children to have fun. Lovely and quiet at night and a shop full of all the bits you need from milk to quality butchers’ meat to the pegs you have left behind!! Great experience. and looking forward to coming back soon. 😀

Stubcroft Farm is one of the cleanest and best cared for sites we have stayed on. After very wet weather this year, the entire site was in immaculate condition and staff worked tirelessly to keep it this way. Every facility was spotless at all times. The pitches were well spaced and level. A camp shop with take away hot drinks was a bonus. Plenty of covered washing up sinks, toilets and showers with lovely hot water. Within an easy walk to the beach – which was gorgeous (actually there were 3 great beaches within walking distance) , as well as a number of great walks directly from the site, there is plenty to do here. As I said, the staff were great – always happy to help – with special mention to Sarah who was so friendly and helpful to us. Definitely recommend Stubcroft Farm – the old green VW will be back!
Just got back from a great holiday at Stubcroft Farm. The facilities were spotless, the site was well maintained and the friendly staff went way above and beyond the call of duty to help us when we had problems with our caravan. For us, the site’s Access and Inclusivity features were particularly important, and we were delighted to find a wealth of information about the site and their access arrangements clearly signposted on the website. Fantastic clean facilities 5* – Friendly and helpful staff – Lovely pitches and well looked after – Great little shop on site – BBQ’s and fire pits can be hired – 20 mins walk to the beach which is just gorgeous! Great communication for booking – A large CO-OP supermarket literally 15 min walk / or 5 min cycle! There were nice customers on site too. Can’t fault it … shall return !

I stayed at Stubcroft Farm Campsite during the wet Coronation weekend. I have stayed there before and was very happy to return as it is a very well run campsite with excellent facilities. In addition I want to compliment and extend thanks to the staff who are warm friendly and really helpful…..they even tried to sort out a mechanical problem with my van. A lovely campsite. What a way to start our camping trips for 2023! A lovely campsite with a range of facilities and good sized pitches on fields surrounded by hedging. Everyone working on the site was friendly and the toilets and showers were clean and there was more than enough hot water. It’s an easy walk/bike ride into Bracklesham bay or East Wittering and West Wittering isn’t too far away for sandy beaches.
Stubcroft farm is such a great campsite, it is very clean and well looked after! All of the staff members are so lovely and friendly, we were given lots of useful information and advice on where to go during our stay! We had a great weekend and very happy with our stay! We highly recommend and will absolutely stay again! Thank you for having us!
I had an overnight stay with my 3 grandchildren all under 6 & we all had a great time….everyone working here was exceptionally friendly & helpful, the loos & facilities are spotless and modern & we even had a free tour around on the farm buggy. My wife and I Just spent a week at Stubcroft farm and I’ve got to say it’s a fantastic campsite with the best staff , Terry and Sarah are so friendly and helpful and there lovely dog Dottie gives the best cuddles . It’s a very eco-friendly site which is really nice to see , and is a great place to chill out and not being very far from local places to visit . Will definitely be going back and look forward to seeing you all again 😃

I found the campsite online and chose it as my destination on a cycle tour in April. It was a great time to go that early in the season as nice and quiet. It far exceeded my expectations and I wish that I’d planned to stay longer. Super clean, tidy and organised. Yes, there are some rules, but everyone is designed to enhance the stay and for the benefit of the camper. It never felt imposing, but instead created a welcoming environment that made you want to linger on. I really appreciated the super clean shower block after my journey, and despite arriving later than planned, the owner was happy to open up the shop so that I could top up on food. In fact, I have to say that every one of the team working there were lovely. Always a smile and friendly chat. A great central location for day trips out, and I hope and plan to stay again. You’ve probably guessed this, but I have to say that I highly recommend Stubcroft Farm Campsite.

A brilliant out of season stay. Just back from our first camp of the year. Absolutely loved this campsite. Had a bit of a bad se-up having realised our shower tap had cracked in the motorhome (water pouring out), the team including Simon and Pete helped us overcome this and we had a truly brilliant weekend. The facilities were spotless, daughter enjoyed the ability to scooter up and down safely. Loved the eco credentials of the site and the fact they gave you a recycling bag to help you separate the waste. Cannot wait to return in the warmer months. Massive thank you. Highly recommend!
Another fabulous stay! My partner, little dog and I booked 6 nights at this fabulous site in September 2022. Having stay for the first time the previous year, it was a no-brainer to go back and, no doubt we will again year on year! – It’s SUCH a lovely site with the friendliest, most helpful and welcoming team. They were so very accommodating finding us a great pitch for our caravan. We had THE BEST TIME! There is absolutely nothing we could fault. Even the weather was kind to us being late September! The site is clean, well-marked out, generous pitch sizes. The facilities are top notch. The shop has everything you could need, the shower block and toilets are spotlessly clean. The team are so very friendly and are great for any advice and information on the local area. I would love to work there myself if I lived closer! Simon and Michaela are fabulous hosts. It was lovely to see them all again from our trip the previous year. The site itself is close to both Bracklesham beaches and East Wittering. East Wittering has plenty of shops so you can stock up on supplies if the campsite shop doesn’t stock what you need. We have no hesitation, in the slightest, to recommend Stubcroft and will, most definitely, be back when we can! Thank-you so much Simon, Michaela and the Stubcroft Team! x
We stayed here in November shortly after some very heavy rains so we couldn’t park on the grounds but had a hardstanding with power. The people running the site were very friendly and helpful. The facilities warm and clean. We hired a fire cage and bought some wood and had an excellent fire for the evening. Definitely visit again.

We really enjoyed our long weekend at Stubcroft. Stayed in our VW camper. Lovely clean and welcoming campsite. Being able to hire a fire pit was a bonus. Just a short walk to the fantastic beach at Bracklesham. Will definitely recommend it.
Lovely friendly campsite. Excellent directions and pre-arrival information made for a very warm welcome & escorted to our pitch by Simon. The ECO amenity block was one of the best we have visited & everything worked as described – first class facilities. Site is well maintained and as it’s some distance from access roads is extremely quiet.
We loved this campsite it is immaculate we will definitely visit again every member of staff was so friendly and made us feel very welcome facilities were new and extremely clean and west wittering beach amazing views and the town has everything.
Wonderful campsite. My partner and I visited Stubcroft for a weekend stay. The Campsite is wonderful, well maintained and perfectly located for walks to the beach and local towns. The communal facilities were excellent and always clean, and the members of staff are welcoming, friendly and helpful. We will be returning for future stays!
Can’t recommend this site highly enough! Yet another lovely stay at this friendly, relaxing and well-kept campsite. The owners and staff go out of their way to help guests and welcome them. The site is clean, great facilities and lots of eco-friendly touches including special recycling bags, drop loos, encouragement to save water, … the list goes on. Amazing wildlife on site & around including bats & rabbits. Along with a warm and safe family feel. This was our 4th stay and we ventured by bike out to West Wittering & Birdham… but our heart is in East Wittering, just a short walk from the site with a lovely community feel & lots of independent shops. I can’t recommend Stubcroft & surrounds highly enough.
First ever experience with our newly acquired caravan. We were quite nervous but Stubcroft Farm was perfect! After buying a second hand caravan we headed off to Stubcroft Farm. Check in was really easy, the staff were amazing and even offered help if we needed assistance reversing our caravan onto our pitch! The shower block is absolutely spotless and very spacious. The different fields were really cosy and well-kept and we will definitely be returning
4 NIGHTS TRIP – We arrived and were immediately impressed with the facilities and quality of the grounds. My wife has knee problems and we were promptly given permission to park our car next to our tent. The farmer and staff are hands on, absolutely there for everyone, helpful, caring and continuingly concerned that we were happy and comfortable with all facilities. We’d fully recommend this site and will definitely be returning. You come in as campers and leave as friends.
Campsite of choice! Had a lovely weekend break with our dogs. Very friendly campsite, well run with great amenities. Even has BBQs to rent along with selling a great charcoal to use with it (Black Dog Forestry charcoal) . Located within a short walk of the beach. Fantastic. Will be our campsite of choice for future visits to the area.
Would recommend in a heart beat – superb all round! My Husband and I stayed for 2 nights recently. From the moment we arrived until the moment we left we were happy. We had a wonderful welcome (from Sue). The staff were all fantastic/very helpful and friendly, nothing was too much trouble. The facilities were spotless 24 hours a day. The shop provided products and goodies to cover all needs. The pitch was exactly as described and kept very clean, neat and tidy too as was the entire site. One thing I would like to highlight is the directions. Please take note of the paperwork as this gives a very useful heads up on the entrance for vehicles! Happy camping everyone. We will be returning, for sure! I visited with my partner and 5 yr old for 2 nights. Weather aside, the stay was great. I was very impressed by the friendliness of staff, the facilities, the effort applied to providing a service for all/catering for additional needs and the consideration applied to the environment. The latter two are something that often lacks at campsites but not at Stubcroft. Can’t wait to come back next year when the sun is shining and we can make the most of the location to the beach.
First time camping. Always had caravans so we have stayed at quite a few sites. – decided to do a 70s no tech camping trip at Stubcroft Farm – well what a lovely place, I cannot rate this camping site enough. Firstly the staff were so friendly and welcoming always there to help and check that you were ok, the toilets/showers were absolutely spotless you could not fault this place at all. All the staff work so hard to keep the campsite clean and tidy along with that they are eco-friendly. I would highly recommend this site for campers / caravans / dogs / children it has a great atmosphere and we look forward to returning next year. Thank you for making our 1st camping trip a pleasurable experience.
Best campsite we have been to so far in southern England. Unfortunately, we only spent one night during our road trip. Facilities are clean. It was quiet in the night. Family-oriented place. You can easily spend 1 or 2 weeks here and use this campsite as a hub to discover this gorgeous area of Britain. This in fact is our plan for our next visit to Britain.
This is a hidden gem. Really lovely little campsite with all the amenities that you need. The staff are very friendly and so happy to help with anything. The facilities are amazing and very clean. The owner Simon and his wife Michaela are always on hand and are always talking to the customers, which is such a lovely personal touch. We will be going again very soon 😃
Lovely stay in a special place. We stayed here last week for three nights and it was a great experience. I had booked by phone and the people I spoke to were so friendly and helpful that I felt confident that it would be a good experience before we even left home. The directions on the website were very clear – glad I looked at them or I would have taken the route I thought I knew! There was a warm welcome at reception and lots of useful information. We parked up in a peaceful spot right by the drinking water. The facilities were bright and clean and all close by. The staff were as nice in person as on the phone.
Fabulous campsite! This was the first time we had visited Stubcroft Campsite and from the moment we booked the communication was excellent explaining everything you needed to know. On arrival we were greeted by friendly and helpful staff. Campsite pitches were very spacious and we liked the fact that the site was broken up with trees and hedges, rather than being one huge field. Facilities were excellent and clean and the site had all the amenities you needed. Great location for accessing all the beaches. We really enjoyed our stay and will certainly be returning next year!

We are not experienced campers by any means but we really enjoyed our 2 night stay here. It was very easy to book in. Communication upon booking and before we came was great. The actual site was lovely and well thought out. the facilities were excellent and had everything we needed. Everyone was very helpful. A lovely part of West Sussex to camp and just a short drive for us to feel a world away from home!
WE stayed there weekend 15th August 2022. It’s a great site, plenty of space and large pitches. Toilets and showers kept really clean. Showers hot and good flow. Shop well stocked including local products. Staff excellent, helpful and friendly. Excellent site for all ages. Great that they allow BBQs and fires with certain sensible conditions. Wonderful campsite! We stayed for a week on this wonderful campsite. We were warmly welcomed. The atmosphere is really relaxed. Every evening the owner walks by to ask if everything is all right. The sanitary facilities are great. It is really clean and the campsites encourages campers to consider the environment in a friendly way. Our place was spacious and had enough shadow. In the evening it is nice and quiet and you can have a firepit if you like. The beach is a short walk away so that is also great. I really recommend this campsite and would like to return some day!

We recently stayed at Stubcroft Farm (August 2022). Highly recommend. The staff were always polite and very helpful with a well-stocked shop filled with everything you may need or had forgotten to bring including hire of BBQ, fire pits, buying local sourced meats for said bbq and fire starting kits for the fire pits. The toilet and shower facilities were spotless with extra eco toilets at the other end of camp which served well for our little ones. The staff were often seen on site cleaning or making sure everyone was enjoying themselves. Stubcroft take a lot of care in recycling and being eco-friendly from the toilets to the rubbish (given a bag for our recycling to help us separate). They even had lockers with charge points in (£1 a locker) for those who need to charge devices if you don’t want an electric pitch. They even helped to keep cold and safe my friend’s insulin and turns off music in the shower/toilets when we took my ASD daughter in for a shower (she is very noise sensitive). It’s less than 5 min drive to local supermarkets and 10 mins drive to the beaches. 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 Will definitely be returning.

The perfect experience. Simply the best campsite I’ve ever visited. Clearly much thought has gone in to the layout of the 5 fields – so much space between pitches; water literally on tap a few steps from our tents; cleanest shower blocks ever and so well maintained. An incredibly friendly atmosphere – definitely going back. Stubcroft deserves every award!!
Too perfect for words! This was my first time camping in the UK. I forced myself to not have any expectations but I did have the memory of the shower facilities from a campsite in France 30 years ago. (the shower facilities in France 30 years ago were absolutely amazing!) Stubcroft Farm exceeded my 30 year old memories. The shower facilities, washing up areas, tech charging lockers, essential shop stock, and – more than all of that – the kind and helpful staff (who were so on top of the safety of all campers, I lost my helicopter paranoia with my kids for a few days) absolutely made this the #1 experience for me for many, many years. My group were placed in the furthest field from the main facilities (a 2 minute leisurely walk) and we were told on arrival that it was the best place for our 5 kids. It absolutely was. Our kids were 100% safe 100% of the time. It was a revelation! I cannot recommend this site enough. My first camping trip and I am an absolute convert!!
We have been to Stubcroft several times and have never been disappointed. We have just got back from another fantastic 3 night stay with them. The staff are absolutely amazing, helpful, friendly and knowledgeable. Every single person that you deal with is the same and I really think that it rubs off on the campers as everyone is always cheerful and so relaxed. We were asked to park our cars in the car park this time, rather than next to the tent. The effect that this had was brilliant, even though the campsite was full there was a lot less noise (car engines, car radios, doors & boots being closed etc) and there was more room to enjoy, you were still able to drive on the field to set up & pack away, plus bring in heavy shopping or sleeping children. A definite thumbs up for this change. Also I can’t write a review without mentioning the cleanliness of the whole place, the staff work tirelessly to keep it looking incredible, and their recycling & environmental efforts are to be applauded.
This place is amazing! I loved their maps, the witty humour, the grass they use, the way the pitches are organised, the staff and their uniforms also their rules. Its extremely satisfying to spend time in a place so tidy and organized with excellent service. The campsite owner should run for MP 👍
Camping with friends. The team at Stubcroft went out their way to make it a perfect week. Anything we asked was met with a smile and a genuine warmth. Beautiful surroundings and great facilities all just a short walk to the Wittering Beach. Thank you for a great start to the summer.
We would highly recommend this campsite to family and friends. It’s really clean, nice facilities, flat camping and separate fields makes each area feel quite intimate. The staff are really friendly too, it’s got a nice vibe. Walking distance (10-20 mins) from two beaches and very quick drive. We’ll be back!
We had a really great stay at Stubcroft Farm Campsite this weekend. The whole campsite is very clean and tidy, with plenty of drinking water taps, clean toilets, showers, fire pits and BBQs for hire at £5 per night, which really added to our evenings. East Wittering village and beach are approximately 20min walk from the campsite, and a 5 min ride bus took us to West Wittering, which was perfect for us as we arrived by public transport. The campsite had humorous (but also informative) signage around the campsite and we loved the eco-friendly vibe. The owner very clearly cares about the local wildlife. The staff were so friendly and helpful; even helping us by providing a screwdriver from their workshop so we could replace the batteries in my son’s bubble gun. We would definitely stay again 😊
Lovely place. Clean and efficient toilets and showers. Friendly staff. Great location with a country walk of about 25 minutes to East Wittering beach. One of the most pleasant campsites I have been to.
What a lovely site, clean, well-organised, with friendly and helpful owners and staff. There are six medium sized fields, each surrounded by hedges and trees which have the effect of making you feel, in ‘your’ field, that you are in fact on your own small site. The hedges and trees also reduce wind, provide some shade, and offer some noise reduction from adjoining fields, although we found the site very quiet even on a long summer holiday weekend. Each field has a large empty area in the middle, good for playing games in. There is a very nice and well-equipped modern facilities block which shares a building with Reception. Another eco-block is at the far end of the site. A small shop at reception sells necessary items as well as some farm produce, and coffees and drinks which can be enjoyed at benches and tables outside.Two parallel footpaths lead from the site, to Bracklesham beach and to East Wittering beach, each about a mile. These provided a perfect, easy and safe way for our 6-year old grandson to cycle with us to the beaches, which we did every day.
We just spent the first week of the summer holidays camping at Stubcroft Farm. We’ve been here 3 times before already, pre-covid, so we were hoping it would still be as good as we remembered… It was better! All the staff are really helpful and seem genuinely happy to be there. We received a warm welcome and all the info for the week. They have everything in the shop that you might need, including prepared bbq food, milk, local ice cream etc.. And we were lucky that the pizza van visited twice during our week! We rented a BBQ and fire pit, along with wood and kindling. The fields and facilities are maintained beautifully. The location is great – perfect for a short-ish country walk into Bracklesham or East Wittering. The atmosphere in our field was friendly and there’s plenty of room between the pitches to feel that you have your own space. This was our dog’s first camping trip and he enjoyed his stay very much too! Would highly recommend this camp site to anyone visiting the area. Thank you to the Stubcroft team for our lovely stay!

After driving for hours and having technical issues on the road, the reason for our late arrival in West Wittering, we were rejected by multiple camping sites due to the late time (21:20). We finally arrived at Stubcroft Farm Campsite which easily and generously reopened the reception to allow us to check in and enjoy this beautiful campsite. We are truly grateful for this experience. Lastly the staff are amazing, kind and interested and more than welcoming.
Great weekend
This is the best campsite I’ve stayed on for a long time. The staff are efficient and professional, yet still friendly and welcoming, facilities are very clean and smart, always hot water, reception/shop sells most things you need including the all-important ice creams. The shop doesn’t open until 9am so remember to buy milk the night before! The pitches themselves are flat, grassy and well maintained and a good size. The walk from the site to the beach is down a gravel track, across a road and through a residential area, took about 20 minutes. We look forward to coming back.

Great location to enjoy surrounding beaches. Fantastic service on arrival and very informative, facilities were nice and clean and plenty of them. Loved being able to enjoy a fire pit in the evening after a stroll to the beach.

We had a lovely stay at Stubcroft Farm. The campsite is very well maintained, clean, good facilities and a focus on being environmentally friendly. Nice big grassy areas for the children to run around. And delicious pizza on a Friday night. Walking distance to East Wittering. We mostly drove to West Wittering as the walk there was a bit too far with young children. I’d happily recommend the campsite

We have just had a great stay in a campervan at Stubcroft Farm campsite. The facilities were super clean and made our stay very comfortable. The staff were extremely helpful, from accommodating us with a later than expected check in, to being kind and helpful when we suffered a vehicle breakdown. We loved how the green credentials shone through including offering beach clean kits- fantastically well thought through, take one and use it!, recycling made super easy, promoting water conservation and clean drinking water available on tap to encourage refilling bottles as well as free herbs for cooking…used in scrambled eggs for us! The shop was well stocked and blondie brownies exquisite. Thank you to Michaela and Lisa in particular who made our stay fantastic.

Lovely Campsite
What a lovely campsite – helpful staff, super clean facilities, well stocked shop, bbqs to hire – just a few of the well thought out details that will only enhance any stay here. I love the fact that this site has facilities in place to be “green”, from composting loos to giving you a returnable bag to use to collect your recycling whilst on site! We only stayed one night – which was far too short. This is a real gem – I’m sure we’ll be back.

Lovely campsite came for couple of nights, nice level pitches in nicely kept fields, very clean loos and showers, faultless very quiet no traffic noise from anywhere, nice walks to beaches etc. Dog friendly, five stars highly recommend.
Family friendly camp site
It was great to see how much care the staff took looking after the campsite. It was immaculate, toilets and showers were cleaned regularly and staff seemed to be on hand to attend to any issues. A lock was broken in the shower and by the time I had finished my shower (in another cubicle!) someone was already fixing it! Everything was organised well, we were given bags for recycling and there were blocks available to ensure BBQs and fire pits did not damage the grass. Will definitely be going back again and couldn’t recommend it enough for families.

Myself and my partner stayed here for a night after visiting West Wittering beach in the day. Lovely campsite, plenty of space to pitch your tent and park your car, good shower and toilet facilities, they were also well kept and very clean! Very polite staff at reception, check in was nice and easy, would recommend!

We stayed at Stubcroft again with our 17-year-old daughter for the May Bank Holiday weekend and had a great weekend. We have stayed here a number of times over the years both in a tent and caravan and really love this relaxed site near the beach. Highly recommended for families and couples seeking great amenities and very friendly and helpful staff.
I wish all campsites are good as this. The level of details and care is just on another level. I literally have nothing negative to say and that is rare for campsites. I also loved the great humour on signs, leaflets /map etc. Thanks for the Stubcroft team.

Had a fantastic stay at Stubcroft. Lovely owners and staff. Great pitches. Facilities (showers and toilets) VERY clean and tidy which was the bit I was dreading but was so pleased to find them so nice. We walked to Bracklesham Bay (15 mins) and East Wittering (some nice places to eat) from the farm which was great and we drove to West Wittering. I would really recommend this campsite, it has clean facilities, a gift shop, lovely staff and great for kids. And it’s very close to the beach so that you can ride your bikes there. Lots of freedom! ❤️

We have had a very enjoyable stay at Stubcroft campsite. The owners were very helpful and friendly. The campsite has everything you could need, all amenities and is very clean. The pitches are well laid out. We found it quiet and peaceful, and close to interesting places to visit.

Stayed at stubcroft Farm for 4 nights and wow what a lovely campsite, showers and toilets would be a five star from me, spotlessly clean and lovely showers, lovely walk to the beach, took me 15 minutes as I timed it, also lovely walks round the nearby fields, lots of wildlife and saw loads of deer 🦌, lots of shops around 15 minutes’ walk away also, will definitely be back, I highly recommend this site as its one of the best I have stayed at.

First time out in our van
This was our first time out in our campervan so wanted somewhere relatively local to us. We are so pleased we found Stubcroft Farm and will definitely be returning. The facilities are spotless, the owners are so friendly and helpful and was just a lovely place to stay. The location is also fantastic, with lovely walks and easy evening walk to East Wittering where we had our evening meal.
The place is so lovely! Very clean and modern 👌 I had a quiet night, it’s very calm there. The woman at the reception is very very kind and adorable 😊 I really recommend this place!
Weekend away in December
We booked for 2 nights for a weekend just before Christmas in our campervan and had a wonderful weekend. From our welcome to departure everything was perfect. Although the “off season” all the facilities were open and kept beautifully clean. The pitches were a great size and sitting out with a fire pit watching the stars was magical. East Wittering village with everything you need is a short walk (15mins) away. And the dogs loved the long walk (4 miles of sand) along the beach to West Wittering Spit. I would highly recommend this site for a trip away at any time of the year and we are already planning another weekend in February
The campsite is tucked away up a road, make sure you use the campsite instructions on which road to take as there is only one for vehicles. Lovely campsite very peaceful great shower and toilet facilities there was a washing machine area but we didn’t use it. Also sinks for washing up. The owners are very friendly and helpful and knowledgeable. The shop has a selection of foods and drinks but we didn’t need to purchase anything. You are not far from the sea or local villages. We twice ate at the restaurant Boulevard which was a short walk in East Wittering walked along the beaches and took a bike ride to Chichester. On a clear night you can see so many stars as hardly any light pollution. The campsite is very green and offers recycling.
Brilliant November Weekend Away
We booked as a group of 3 camper vans and had an absolutely wonderful weekend. From our welcome to departure, Michaela was wonderful, very helpful and friendly. The pitches were a great size and the shower/toilet amenities were brilliant – warm, clean and had everything you need. Our stay was a cold weekend in November but we were able to have a fire pit with logs that were provided at a cost – absolutely perfect. I would highly recommend this site for a trip away at any time of the year and we will definitely be back.
Upon arrival we were greeted at reception by friendly and helpful staff. Our pitch was immaculate and very close to the amenity block, which was well lit, clean and allowed a good shower. The walk into East Wittering took just 20 minutes and was delightful, passing horses, alpacas and the occasional woodpecker. The village was quirky and we enjoyed browsing the charity shops and there was a bakery with cheerful staff and scrummy cakes. We were lucky with the mild November weather and this location is perfect for beach a city visits alike. Driving the roads to National Trusts Petworth was a joy with the amazing autumn colours. We were blown away!
Relaxing campsite
Spent a lovely October weekend here in our campervan. Friendly team, a nice little shop – with wood/charcoal for fire/BBQ and modern/clean facilities. Easy cycle to the beach and around the peninsula. Intend to return in the summer.
Wonderful campsite. Extremely friendly staff (thanks Micheala), all the amenities you need and walking to the beaches. Spent two nights here this weekend and would highly recommend the site.
South Coast Gem
Stayed the 1 night at this gem of a campsite. Well run, very clean throughout. Found the staff extremely informative and nothing was too much trouble. Nice gentle walk down to the beach and array of shops and restaurants.
The whole campsite had a very happy relaxing atmosphere. Only wish we could have stayed longer.

Clean and quiet
We visit stubcroft regularly as it’s a welcoming and safe site for our family. Site is always clean and well looked after. Showers/loos are new and spotless. And they rent firepits and bbqs and sell logs. Its all very easy. Site is a pleasant walk to the beach or quirky town centre. Pizzas and curries are delivered to the site. All good 🙂
We have enjoyed the BEST week at Stubcroft Farm. I can’t recommend highly enough in terms of location, cleanliness and the friendliness of all the staff working on this fabulous site. My partner and I are quite new to caravanning, the site had easy access, great size pitch and, conveniently, electric and water very close to hand. Stubcroft is dog friendly which is fabulous. Our little pooch had the best time too! – Many walks close by. The beautiful beaches are all within a 15/20-minute walk and are also dog friendly. Simon, the owner, came for a chat one evening to introduce himself and taught us fail-safe ways to light a cracking fire! Each member of the team were friendly and approachable, giving advice on where to visit etc. The showers, toilet and shop block was great. The fact that they displayed the “Pride/Rainbow” flag gave us the assurance of a LGBTQ+ friendly site and was the deciding factor in choosing this site over some others close by. I am so pleased we did, we can’t think of anything we’d change. Even the weather was kind to us! Many thanks to all of the team at Stubcroft, we think we’ve found our new favourite place to be so will, most definitely, be back! Can’t wait 🙂
Great campsite
Very comfortable campsite with excellent amenities. Good location and friendly, helpful staff. Well-maintained and organised. Were given XL pitch so that we could pitch 2 small tents together. Thanks. Good that cars have to park in car park and not on fields.
A fantastic clean Campsite. Couldn’t fault anything. On arrival the staff clearly explained the site rules from the ‘normal’ rules to the extra covid measures they had in place. I personally liked the shower booking system and felt it worked well for us as a group. The site is in a lovely location and within easy reach to beautiful beaches and other attractions. Would highly recommend this site for first time campers and even the more experienced. Lots of families and even just older couples enjoying the beauty of Stubcroft Farm.
Just back from 4 nights at Stubcroft, absolutely brilliant camping site. We have returned there each year for 5 now and will hopefully go again next year. The site is exceptionally clean, lovely showers and washing facilities, good well-ordered pitches and fire pits every night, close to the beach of Bracklesham, lots of places to explore close by, we so far haven’t exhausted all the possibilities, real welcoming site, thanks again.

This is a great site with super friendly staff. There is a very smart eco- friendly facility / reception block. The pitches are flat and of a reasonable size depending on what you have selected. The location is fantastic and in walking distance to East Wittering with its shops, bars and restaurants and a short drive to the fabulous West Wittering area. There is a small shop on site combined with reception and a great farm shop just outside the vehicle access road. We are definitely going back in the future.

This lovely campsite is ideal during the quieter times of year for people who want a peaceful and relaxing holiday in a natural environment. It’s for people who want a pitch in a quiet, green field with the sounds of nature around them, those people who want to get away from constant noise, rushing around and hyperactivity. So. This is one of my favourite campsites. Here’s why: Friendly and helpful staff on a small farm run by Simon – an active eco-aware farmer who does his best to make the site for nature and people which works really well. Off the beaten track and near the sea – Arranged with several smallish fields surrounded by native hedges giving you a cosier feel to your camping holiday than many other campsites – 20-minute amble on the flat through countryside to Bracklesham Bay where there is a beach for great swims and views to Portsmouth, IOW and beyond. You can also walk to East and West Wittering beaches… Shop which offers you the basics you might need – Good clean showers and toilets in a block – Great easy-to-use compost toilets – Washing up stations – Fire bowls and logs, kindling and charcoal – Hook-ups for motor homes – although we like to use the spacier fields without it – Ice-pack freezing and battery recharging – Minimal light pollution making it a good place to see the night sky – Lots of wildlife including a huge flock of Goldfinches this time – Medmerry Nature Reserve at Bracklesham Bay – last time we saw an Osprey and 5 Spoonbills – quiet hours at night which suits me as I like to get away from this kind of thing! I’ve been here 3 times now and it’s always been good.

Lovely site, a great find
Having been rudely turned away from Scotts farm, despite being well behaved visitors for a number of years, we thought we would end up sleeping in the car. We rang this place in hope of a space, lucky for us they managed to fit us in. It was very clean and tidy. A good quiet place great for those who enjoy a well-run site with not too many frills. The staff were very friendly and it was nice to be at a place not overrun with rules. They allow you to rent a fire pit which was a really nice touch. So glad that Scotts farm turned us away, or we would never have found this place. We will return.
Friendly, clean, dog friendly, allows Bbq’s and fire pits and has them to hire if needed, for a small deposit. Good showers, even though there are only 4 female showers, never had to queue though. Well stocked kiosk. Nothing is too much trouble 🙂 We have been coming since 2017 and we shall be back later in the year. Plus only a 15/20 min walk to the beaches *Edit sorry forget about mentioning the male showers and the disabled showers and toilets, for that matter the whole campsite is wheelchair friendly. 🙂

Best dog friendly Campsite in the UK. We’ve been to a few campsites this summer and Stubcroft has been the best so far. The campsite is spotless, washing up stations at the end of every field with hand gel, excellent clean spacious shower block, necessities shop at reception, fire pit hire, really helpful staff, great location and quiet. We had a chat with Simon the owner who talked about the impact of covid on the business and what protocols they had in place to ensure everyone felt safe. We brought our dog and he had a great time making friends with the two dudes in the camper van a few pitches down from us. The beautiful beach wasn’t far away. At night we organised our own DIY Spotify silent disco which meant we were able to have dance without disturbing our neighbours. If you are looking for a family friendly quiet spotless dog friendly well-run campsite near a beautiful beach, Stubcroft is the campsite for you.

Excellent site
As several families, we had difficulty booking a Campsite that would accommodate us. This was until we stumbled across this little gem! From the moment they answered the phone they were more than helpful in helping us to book our stay. Upon arrival we were checked in by Lisa. She sat with us and explained the site rules from the quiet time, the car parking arrangements and the extra measures put in to help with covid. I could see other members of staff doing the same with other holiday makers. Great touch that you can hire bbqs and fire pits. I think I’ve turned into a toasted marshmallow! It just added an authentic camping touch having the firepit going every night. Due to Covid they have introduced a booking system for the showers & I felt this worked well. The facilities were clean and were cleaned/checked throughout the day. Every day the staff were seen litter picking the Campsite and seemed proud to be part of the Stubcroft Farm team! The location of the site is great. Overall a great Campsite and ticked all the boxes for us.
Fab 4 nights away at Stubcroft. Friendly staff who are always around to help out. Lovely, clean facilities. This is our 3rd stay here and will definitely be returning. Good base as it is close to some great beaches.
Just had 8 nights at this site. As three families, we have had an amazing time. Staff are all brilliant and very helpful. Lisa gave us a wonderful welcome and a rundown of the site & Covid regulations. Thank you from the Elvin’s, Palmer’s and Connell’s we all had great family time 😀😂🤗

Had a good holiday 2 families for 7 nights in the august summer holidays ,although the site was very busy it is very well run by the fantastic staff. Some of the rules for booking showers and parking seemed a little strange at first glance, but this did ensure we never waited for a shower all week and the fields stayed in good condition despite some wet weather, also the lack of cars meant the camping areas were safer for the children that were playing in the fields. The site was quiet after 11pm. The location is ideal as short walk to the village and local beach. The shower and toilet block is one of the best I have seen on a campsite including a good washing up area and well stocked shop. Looking forward to a return visit .
Lovely clean and tidy place with lots of space
3rd time I’ve been to stubcroft farm and just booking again to go end august after coming back from there 2 weeks ago. Place is clean friendly staff. Even has a fridge by the shop that u can keep ur food in. Love it here. Plus walking distance to beach or shirt drive to West Wittering. My fav little gem of a place.

THE best campsite I have ever visited. From the little shop in the main house and portacabin loos & showers in the old days to an amazing modern shower/toilet building and purpose-built shop now. I can’t recommend this campsite highly enough. A must for people traveling to the south coast. Very friendly and helpful team.

Our second year at this outstanding kiddie & dog friendly camping in a great location. Good for walks, beach, local pubs & restaurants. Suitable for camper vans, caravans & tents. Fantastic, helpful & happy staff, excellent, clean shower block facilities. Good selection of BBQ meats…the sticky chicken is delicious & their Raspberry & Redcurrant jelly jam is amazing! We’ll definitely be back.

It was our first-time camping, we came from Friday to Sunday! All I can say is wow! It was such a fantastic experience! The staff were amazing so helpful and so friendly…the campsite is so clean and tidy! So well looked after by happy campers and the great staff! Really clean new facilities, great layout of the camping fields and really friendly staff. Takes about 20 minutes to walk to the beach, most of which is along a country path. Would highly recommend.
A great campsite run by people who care
Such a warm and friendly welcome, and the facilities here are excellent: brand new toilet block with showers, washing up room, washing machines for hire etc. Showers were pre-bookable but we could book AM and PM for post-beach trips; they were all spotlessly clean. The staff regularly circulate the campsite to say hi and check all okay, which was really lovely. Great views and loads of space for the kids to run around (we were on the furthest field with the extra-large pitches). Would definitely recommend to people wanting to visit the area.
It’s a lovely, very well kept and organised site, not far from the beach, but still in the countryside. All amenities are catered for by very helpful friendly staff. We had a non-electric tent pitch. We would highly recommend.

Fantastic campsite 100% satisfaction
What a fantastic camp site, friendly staff, very flexible and amenable and so nice when we turned up late, very clean facilities, lovely campsite, and extremely well run. Definitely going back, often!! Surrounded by fields, walk to beach 15-45 minutes, electric hook up, allows dogs on lead, hire out fire pits, ecology and charities well supported, cannot find anything wrong!

This was our first-time camping in our motorhome. Everyone was so friendly and the amenities were excellent. Lovely fields surrounded by trees and hedges to provide shade. Dog friendly, you can hire bbqs, loved it!!! Only thing I wished was that you could have a cool shower as it was so hot lol. We’ll be back xxx

Me and my boyfriend stayed at the campsite last week and we had the best time! It was my first-time camping and I can’t wait to book to go again! All the staff were so friendly and always there to help, the site is very well looked after, clean and has everything you need!

We had a lovely 3 night stay here. Staff friendly and helpful and they’d thought of every detail to make our stay perfect. For example you could have fire pits which they deliver to your plot, and the little shop had most things you would want. The long drop, Eco toilet was certainly an experience but there were also lovely toilets and showers in the main block. Hedgerows around every field kept the site feeling secure and peaceful, each morning we woke to birdsong in the bushes. A truly wonderful stay & we’ll definitely go back. Great staff team & everything was taken care of. 5 stars!!
Great caravan site. Very clean and well cared for by Simon and his team. They take pride in maintaining a high standard whilst being environmentally active. Able to cycle to the beaches and local shops. A fab campsite-caravan site for families and couples if you are looking for a quiet and relaxing holiday.

Such a beautiful and friendly campsite: a new favourite
Everything praised about this campsite is true – such interesting and well thought out ideas (phone charging lockers, accessible signing desk, for example). Firepits for here, logs for sale, sparklingly new clean facilities, hot water in shower .. etc etc! Lovely to talk to the committed and friendly staff every day: educational and interesting with regard to flora and fauna, farming and effects of Brexit, COVID etc. Pitches are superbly maintained, and much larger than typical. Just a lovely site

If I could rate this campsite more than 5 stars I really would! Clean, tidy, shop offers an array of items which is very handy, also it was very quiet! Mariah was a gem, so polite, very helpful and overall a pleasure to have a chat with! We will definitely be going back to Stubcroft!
Stubcroft Farm is the best camping and caravan site I have been to. The people who run it are so friendly and helpful and they keep it exceptionally clean. The shower and toilet block are quite new and are cleaned all of the time. There is a small shop where you can buy the basics and things you may have forgotten to bring. The area East Wittering is a fantastic place to visit as there are lots of things to do. Walking into the village is so nice with beautiful scenery and the village itself has lots of unusual shops, coffee bars and restaurants, and of course it’s by the sea with a nice sandy beach. I can’t wait to go again.
Just spent the past 3 nights here. I can’t credit enough. The facilities were unquestionably 5* for a campsite. I would absolutely recommend……..not too highly because I want to make sure I get another booking …wink … .wink…..I’ll be back for sure

Wonderful, from start to finish!
I loved everything about Stubcroft Farm Campsite and have nothing but praise for the team! From the first telephone contact when Mary responded quickly to my message, to the friendly way that everyone helped to make the occasion special for my 50th birthday (my friends and I booked two pitches. Our pitch numbers? 49 & 50!), to the recycling facilities, the eco-loos, the quiet good nature with which we were greeted and checked in, I was impressed with how the Stubcroft Farm team made me feel like nothing was too much trouble in order to make my stay a pleasant one. I will certainly be back, and I’ve been raving about this site to anyone who will listen to me ever since!

We have stayed at Stubcroft for the last 3 or 4 years and will go back again. The staff are really friendly, they make every effort to be environmental and the facilities are perfect for your disabled children. A real find!!!

First time at this campsite and very impressed. Well run, squeaky clean and everyone we met was very helpful. 18 mins walk to the Wittering village and beach, but plenty of inland walks across the fields too. We loved the walk to and the lunch at The Lamb Inn – quality. We will be back.
A real gem of a site conveniently located for East Withering a s Bracklesham Bay. This is our third visit and we live fairly close! The site is extremely well run and the owner and staff are very friendly and welcoming. The amenities blocks super. And well attended. We had an electric hookup pitch with a convenient water tap. The pitch was ample in size. The shop is well stocked with edible and non-edible essentials and village shopping is a short walk away. Well set out with areas divided by hedgerow and trees. Dog and child friendly which is great as it is part of a working farm

This is my second time at Stubcroft Farm campsite and it’s been my best campsite experience for service, facilities, and a really friendly family atmosphere. The staff are very nice, the owner is a great host and comes round to chat from time to time, and the people that visit here are a lovely bunch! Considering this difficult time, their COVID-19 measures are very thorough, more than I’ve seen in any other place. They temperature check everyone on arrival, amazing! And masks must be worn in the reception and indoor facilities. Plenty of sanitising stations and signage. Well done Stubcroft! I just love the vibe here and can’t wait to rent my firepit and BBQ tonight and enjoy sunset! 😍
Have just returned from a 5-night stay, this is a lovely site to stay on, we had a large pitch which is marked out, hook up was easy to do too. The shop they have on site is well stocked with all manner of things, from sweets to fresh meat, all at reasonable prices. The facilities were spotlessly clean, the showers are running on a Time slot, which helps to maintain social distancing. We spent 3 nights here when the sites were reopened from COVID-19. The team have done an extraordinary job of making sure that guidelines have been adhere to. The facilities are extremely clean and organised. The site is very organised and well maintained. If you prefer a more “loose” wild camping this is not for you, but if you like a hot shower, flushing toilet and hot water to wash your dishes this is the perfect camp site. The staff were friendly and helpful. Well stocked shop with well thought out stock. The sausages were absolutely delicious, we didn’t get to the shop early enough to taste the burgers but I definitely recommend you try the produce. I will definitely return.
Gorgeous campsite situated just a 20-minute walk from the beach. The owners were so lovely and made us feel at home. Shops, cafés and takeaways also very closeby whilst the campsite shop has everything you could need (bbqs, firepits and all) Thank you, we’ll be back❤️❤️

Immaculate Facilities
Just returned from a weekend at Stubcroft Farm and will definitely be back. Immaculate toilet and shower block, site was really clean, very friendly staff and managing COVID precautions really well. Short walk to Bracklesham Bay for a bracing walk. It was all great.
Just back home after spending four nights camping at this fabulous site. We were greeted on arrival with a friendly smile from helpful staff. The site is very well kept with a spotlessly clean amenities block. The site has a ethos based around sustainability, even having compostable toilets on site as well as the standard flushing loos. We were down visiting my wife’s relatives on Hayling Island and would certainly stay here again. Highly recommended.
Fantastic campsite
Very well looked after grounds. very clean and tidy. great to have camp fires. shower and toilet block immaculate. wonderful shop with local produce. and super friendly staff. even Simon the owner came round in the evening to say hello to each pitch and asked if there was anything we need. Excellent position, 20 min walk into East Wittering, selection of shops, pubs restaurants and beach. We will definitely be back
Excellent Camping Holiday
A lovely and clean site, with excellent facilities, took Cover 19 responsibility very seriously and we felt very safe when using the facility building. Staff are always friendly and helpful this was our 5th stay with our touring caravan there and will not be our last. Camp site can be busy but pitches are very well spaced and no overcrowding. Would strongly recommend this site. Thank you Stubcroft Farm for a very enjoyable stay.

Last minute stay
Well what can I say, we were a group of six in 3 campervans and stayed last minute. After a phone call then a short drive we were met with open arms for a one-night stay. Very well-kept site and the facilities were very good, felt very safe due to the COVID regulations put in place. The owners and all staff very friendly and we will all be going back and recommending to all our friends and family. Thank you once again for accommodating us on short notice and we will see you again very soon.

Fantastic campsite, good location
We have just returned from a three-night camping trip to Stubcroft Farm and we couldn’t fault it. They have all necessary Covid restrictions in place which work really well without interfering with the holiday experience. The facilities were clean and well maintained and all staff very helpful and personable. Great location, just a five-minute cycle ride from East Wittering and the beach. Overall a great camp site which we would definitely return to and have no hesitation in recommending it to others.
Fab Four Days at Stubcroft
Just stayed at Stubcroft Farm Campsite with my husband and some friends and would highly recommend. Very friendly people, really eco-friendly with excellent re-cycling facilities. Toilets, showers, shop and reception all excellent. Very relaxing, with fire pits and barbecues for hire, great sized pitches and all set-in fabulous countryside, walking distance to the beach. Will definitely be back.
Well organised campsite
We stayed here for 2 nights in our motorhome. We were very impressed with the Covid safety measures and felt safe here. Level pitches and hedges around each field. The showers were super clean and spacious. The booking system ensures they were safe. We walked to Bracklesham bay to eat fish and chips from Moby’s and watched the sunset. We will be back to stay here next summer.
Favourite Site
This was our 5th year of visiting Stubcroft, It is our favourite site, the facilities are second to none, extremely clean, the pitches are a good size and having a fire pit is always a bonus. There are plenty of places nearby to visit, the nearest beach is just 20 mins walk away, as are takeaways and pubs. The staff are very friendly and helpful they are dealing with Covid measures excellently and the shop sells a good range of basic items including local sausages and bacon perfect for a barbecue. Would highly recommend this site so long as we can still get on it! Thanks Stubcroft.
Super clean, highly efficient campsite
Spent three nights here at the end of August and can say it’s the best, most organised site I’ve ever camped at. Every detail has been thought through and the owners are taking the current pandemic situation extremely seriously with great measures in place to mitigate risk. Showers and toilets are meticulously clean, camping plots are spacious, onsite shop is well stocked, options to rent BBQs and firepits, big on recycling, ideal location within walking distance of village but also dead quiet especially at night. Will definitely be returning next year.
Camping heaven
Have stayed at Stubcroft multiple times in the last 6 years and have never had a bad experience….i love the sheltered fields and general set up of the whole site, the camp fires, relaxed atmosphere and location close to the sea. The kids always want to return each year…and we will be back again for sure! Best family camping experience

Well run, family friendly campsite
Cannot fault this campsite. It has everything you need. All staff were very friendly and helpful, always available to help. Well set out pitches in small fields -great for children to play safely. On-site shop well stocked even though it was bank holiday and was fully booked. Very quiet overnight. We hired a fire basket and bbq which was great for the evenings (wood, kindling, firefighters all available to buy). Nice selection of things for children in shop. Easy walking access to beaches and walks.
Great campsite
Went here for 2 nights in August 2020. Really nice campsite with good facilities. Staff were very helpful, shower block and toilets clean and regularly cleaned. Fire pits and bbq’s for hire and a shop that stocks snacks, crisps, hot drinks and a few tents accessories you may have forgotten. They also sell locally sourced meats for breakfast or a bbq. Ideally located for a 15-minute walk to the seafront at East Wittering and a few pubs and eateries. We really enjoyed it and will return at some stage in the future.
Perfect campsite run by people who understand campers!
This site is a perfect location for coastal walks, relaxing, well managed sheltered site. Each micro site is sheltered by hedges on three sides with apple trees amongst the hedges, ample standpipes (water pressure is low but can’t be helped) , amazingly clean shower block, toilets, lockers for charging devices, brilliant chemical disposal system, washing machines if you need them, well stocked small shop for things you might forget, Local meat packs, fresh veg, eggs etc. The owners couldn’t be more helpful – even after the storm this week, they visited every camper to make sure they were ok – campsite rule is no music between 11 and 8 which was also very welcome as other sites that’s not always managed
We stayed for three nights in a tent with EHU and will definitely come back, it’s only a 30-minute drive from home but we still felt we had a great break away. Brilliant. Probably the cleanest site I’ve ever been on with frequently cut grass, an environmentally friendly vibe, it was so good seeing so many families smiling and having fun. It would be impossible to be disappointed with this site and I understand they just one another award too – well deserved 👏👏👏👏

Fabulous, friendly site
Just back from a very windy few days at Stubcroft Farm and Campsite. We were camping during Storm Francis and the staff at the campsite could not have been more helpful. While we were out for the day, unknown to us, the staff had spent the day repegging (again and again) our tent and several others as the winds picked up. They lent us equipment to fix our tent and then came round the next morning to check we were all ok and have survived the night. They went above and beyond the call of duty and we were very grateful! The facilities were great. The toilet and shower block were very clean (award winning) and, due to the booking system, we never had to queue for showers. The staff were extremely helpful and had good local knowledge and advice for fair weather campers. I would definitely recommend staying at Stubcroft. It has great facilities, is close to the beaches and lots of great days out and feels like a real country break away.

This was our third visit to stubcroft. We love it. A lovely site in a superb location. The staff work so hard to make sure the place is clean and tidy and are on hand if you need anything. Best Family Campsite
The sheltered but open fields. The wash and shower facilities. The campfires. The small, but well stocked shop. The beaches and local villages. The relaxed atmosphere and all round set up, by far the best family campsite I’ve been too. The kids live it, and always ask to come back every year. May it continue! 🙂
Fabulous Stay
Just returned from a 6 night stay at this absolute gem of a camp site. Everything about this site is clean and very well organised. The Covid-19 precautions in place are excellent. Al the staff we encountered were smiling and very helpful, even though the heat at times was a bit unbearable. We had a very enjoyable stay and this will now be our number one choice for all our future trips to the Witterings. Thanks to Simon and your fantastic team for fabulous time and look forward to our next visit.

Here we are again at the best campsite in the country… being from Devon and spending lots of my time camping with the family, we are so so glad that 5 years ago we found this hidden gem. Great Little Campsite
Our stay here was lovely. Everything you need on site including lockers for charging phones if you don’t have electric hook up. Such a great idea. Easy to find and welcoming staff, clean toilets and showers. Also very mindful of the Covid 19 regulations which was very reassuring. Fire pit facilities to hire is also a nice added touch. Information and maps of the local are given on arrival which was very helpful Even local takeaway that deliver to the site. Looking forward to returning again.
A firm favourite for family and friends
We absolutely love this little gem for its laid-back vibe and welcoming atmosphere. It’s proper camping but with sparkly clean bathroom facilities and easy access to everything the Witterings has to offer. Love the tunes they pipe through the bathrooms and washing up stations. We’ve been here 6 years in a row and our crowd keeps growing. Highly recommend.

I had forgotten what a gem this campsite is… and it’s gotten so much better too. Energy efficient reception/shower toilet block with solar heated water and solar electric power and full recycling facilities. On top of this freezing ice blocks is free (charity donation requested), £1 to charge three phones for an hour (50p of which goes to charity!!!) All the charities are fantastic humanitarian causes. The campsite itself is split into 5 nice sized fields, each of which gave electric and non-electric pitches and you can have fires and BBQs. In think that this is the best site ever!
Friendly, well equipped site, perfect for the Wittering beaches
The site is in a peaceful spot down a long farm drive (and is still a working farm). The pitches are generous and the facilities excellent & sparkling clean. Staff are friendly and couldn’t have been more helpful. On our stay it was mostly families and couples, all harmonious and no late noise. We were there in the early days after lockdown and the site had put sensible and reassuring measures in place; facemasks in common areas and booked shower spots, with cleaning between each use. Good range of firepits and BBQs to hire. Great base for cycling and walking to the beaches, mostly along farm tracks and footpaths.

Brilliant Camping
Very clean bathrooms, great facilities, good space to camp and lovely hosts. This is a brilliant place to camp. Very child and pet friendly too. Good shop stocked well and there is lots of space for the children to play.

The staff are so warm and welcoming, we visited for my son’s 5th birthday and they went above and beyond to make sure we were well looked after. Fresh produce is on offer at the shop, with meat being sourced locally and veg being grown on site! The farm is spotless and obvious measures have been taken to ensure visitors remain safe during the pandemic. The hospitality we received was second to none, our little family thoroughly enjoyed our time here and will definitely visit again soon. Thank you Stubcroft.
The weekend was very busy but the staff were brilliant from the minute I booked to the minute I left this morning. They were so helpful and friendly. We will definitely be returning. Facilities were kept clean and tidy and they have a brilliant shower system so there isn’t people crowding around to wait.

This is real gem of a campsite. Friendly staff, good clean amenities, great size pitches and one of very few sites that allow fire pits and has a sensible check out time of 12pm (no extra charge for late check out). Great location to the beaches and plenty of good walks. So glad to have found this place and will definitely be back again. Thanks to all the staff for making it a pleasant stay, so refreshing to stay on a campsite without having to battle the normal grumpy campsite owners at every turn!

A well-run friendly campsite. Every aspect of a camping trip is well catered for. The professional way the site is run made our holiday that much smoother. Well thought out procedures managed by friendly staff really makes this an excellent site.

Great campsite for kids
We had booked a weekend before Covid hit, and this remained our only getaway of the year, with overseas trips already cancelled. I’m probably biased, we have stayed at this site for a few years now, but that reflects on how great we think it is. The Stubcroft team have obviously upped their game to ensure they can combine a great stay with safety. Extra staff, spotless toilets and showers, a strong steer to wear masks in communal areas, all sat easily with the great open spaces and safe cycling for kids and availability of evening BBQ’s and fire pits. A couple of top tips if you are thinking of going. Make sure you book to go to West Wittering beach, you can’t just turn up, and whilst the site offers great food, Tom Hoare butchers is worth a shout in East Wittering, he seems to have an infinite variety of sausages.
My first camping trip in over 30 years
I wanted a small break after a fairly stressful few months working within a hospital and my kids suggested camping as we could be on our own and I wouldn’t be worried about social distancing etc (sorry, it’s a nurse thing!). We chose Stubcroft Farm as the website suggested that they had introduced extra measures and on arrival all my fears were set aside. Check in was smooth and friendly, the facilities were cleaned regularly and extra cleaning product was available to use if needed. Masks needed to be worn in the building and was enforced. We didn’t use the washing up facilities but our own bowl as requested on the website but it all seemed very clean. The herb garden at reception was a lovely touch. We had a beautiful pitch in Hazel field and set ourselves up in the far corner. Having not camped for many years, I had forgotten how relaxing it is to just sit and people watch. I especially loved sitting by the fire pit at night and although we didn’t choose this camp site for this reason, I am very glad we chose one which allows fires. Fire pits are £5 a night to hire with a £10 (cash) deposit. Wood etc can be bought on site and is delivered to your tent. Fire bricks are at the entrance to every field so the grass isn’t damaged. There is also a shop combined with reception which sells just about everything.
Staff were always walking around and easily approachable. We didn’t have any problems but am sure they would have been willing to help if we had. The town and beach is about a 20-minute walk. I would recommend this to driving as the beach car parks fill up very quickly. Our 3 nights was over far too quickly but i have found a new love for camping and will be returning. My thanks to Stubcroft Farm and all it’s staff.
Brilliant
Arrived here Thursday and left Sunday. You couldn’t wish to stay on a site that is any cleaner and well organised. At no time did we ever feel “not safe” and put that together with staff that never seem to stop working but always manage a smile and a cheery word you have a first-class mixture for relaxed enjoyment. The shop is well stocked and yes we did forget knives and forks and on about the hottest day this year you could buy bags of ice cubes. Just brilliant – what more can I say. As we are a couple in our 60’s we cannot comment on children’s facilities but all around us seemed to be having a good time.
Wonderful stay
My husband & I took our little dog for a 3-night stay to Stubcroft. We arrived the day after it reopened after lockdown. It was very apparent that they had prepared for the new normal social distancing was made easy by all their efforts. We felt very safe & reassured. The staff were really warm & friendly, especially Mark, he even remembered my husband’s name a couple of days after speaking to him. The campsite is a lovely place to stay, with great facilities, the toilets & shower block were outstanding & spotlessly clean all the time. We appreciated little touches such as the free herbs, which you can help yourself to, the fit pits & BBQs to hire & shop which you can buy lovely meats from. The site is situated in a great location, 20 mins away from East Wittering, a lovely walk to a charming little place, with lots of independent shops, cafes & bars & great beach. We can’t wait to return!

Stubcroft is one of the best campsites we have stayed on (twice now) and we love it. Post Covid there are a few new regulations which the staff go out of their way to help people follow without encroaching on their holiday and overall the site feels safe. Excellent toilets and shower facilities are cleaned regularly and thoroughly through the day and, if they felt clean before, they sparkle now! The staff are friendly and very helpful. With Bracklesham Bay 20 minutes’ walk away and a 30-minute walk along the beach to West Wittering it is a great location. Highly Recommended.
Well organised and friendly site
This is a great campsite with very clean facilities which, post Covid, are cleaned regularly through the day and they are modern and immaculate. Mask wearing required in the inside areas. Staff are very friendly and helpful. It is a very peaceful and family friendly site that also welcomes dogs. 20 minutes’ walk to the nearest beach at Bracklesham Bay. We are already booked to visit again and I highly recommend this campsite.

Perfect break – Kind and helpful staff with immaculate facilities
This is our second stay at Stubcroft Farm and it was just as amazing as the first time. We chose to return because we have young people with autism and the staff are exceptionally inclusive and accommodating. The location is perfect with easy walking access to two beaches and a five-minute drive to another. The site’s layout with hedges between areas offers seclusion and wind breaks. Power and water is readily available, with taps regularly disinfected. The most outstanding feature is the stunning, immaculately clean amenities block with showers, toilets, laundry and washing-up facilities. With the current COVID situation, the cleanliness of the whole site offered reassurance, together with staff who were kind and helpful in enforcing the guidelines so we all felt very safe. A wonderful break with great facilities and definitely somewhere we will re-visit. Thank you.

Friendly, Cosy and Clean
Simon and Michaela, the owners of the site, are super friendly and have created a such a nice friendly environment. The site is made up of smaller separate pitching fields which makes your stay a bit cosier with excellent clean and modern washing facilities and a well-stocked shop. You can rent Barbeque equipment and wood burning fire pits…I had a great stay and will be back soon…Thank you !!
Lovely campsite
We came across this campsite by chance last weekend and managed to get a last-minute pitch. Really impressed. It’s a very pretty campsite with the land divided into a few different fields. The allocated pitches are well laid out meaning the middle is always left free for the kids to play. Nice little touches included lockers to be able to charge your phone and a communal fridge as well as camping kiosk which sold all the essentials. Good washing up and showering facilities too. The owner was very friendly and made us feel very welcome. Will definitely be back next year . Nicest campsite we’ve been to and we’ve been to quite a few.
Excellent, well run campsite
We have been coming here for several years and seen some great improvements. The site is always clean, with decent showers, loos etc. This year our inflatable tent had several leaks. The Stubcroft team were amazing, seeing if they could help fix the tent and then hiring us a large tent for the weekend. Otherwise we would have had to go straight home. They really do go the extra mile to help and make your stay as enjoyable as possible. We always go to Billy’s on the beach one night and we walk there mostly along footpaths. It takes about 20 mins. Worth booking a table, as Billy’s can get busy.
The campsite is great! The showers and toilets are exceptionally clean, and the water is hot too! Easy checking in at reception and the pitches are a really good size too. There are always staff around to check everything is running smoothly and the expectations of keeping noise levels down between 11pm and 8am means you can get a decent night’s sleep too! Thoroughly recommend it, we will be back! x

As 4 mums with children the staff at Stubcroft found us 3 pitches very late in the day. We had a really fantastic stay due to incredibly helpful staff who did everything to make our stay a great one. Stubcroft was reasonably priced, v clean, eco-friendly and beautifully looked after. I can’t recommend it highly enough.
Absolutely love it here, fabulous amenities, clean bathrooms, lovely people, even a food van , 20 mins to walk to the beach…. what’s not to love.

Just returned from a five-night stay at Stubcroft and it was excellent. We were in a group of three families with children ranging from 2 years up. Definitely one of the best campsites we have been to. Great facilities and perfect location. The weather helped too! We would definitely recommend Stubcroft and look forward to returning!

Very accommodating
We’ve just come back from a lovely stay at Stubcroft Farm. We weren’t able to stay at our usual campsite as the owner/manager decided to be officious and difficult so were left with nowhere to stay on a Bank Holiday Monday late afternoon. There were 12 of us in total in our party who had all driven for about 4 hours that day for our annual camping trip. Thankfully Stubcroft Farm came to the rescue and we were delighted that we were given two pitches next to one another so we could all be together and enjoy our evening. The campsite is really lovely with lots of hedges, secluded and quiet. It has very clean washing and toilet facilities (they have eco loos too but we didn’t use them), make it easy to recycle and the staff for were very pleasant. We had a BBQ that evening and were pleased that they provided fire bricks free of charge to stand our BBQ on as it is low to the ground. It is near West Wittering beach which is just the best beach on the south coast of England. We wanted to stay a second night but unfortunately it was fully booked but we made the most of it and spent a full day at West Wittering beach before heading home. The other campsite did us a massive favour being difficult and rude as we have now found the perfect campsite for our trip next year. Thank you Stubcroft Farm for a great stay.

A lovely well maintained, decent sized camp site, perfect for a family break. All amenities that you would require plus more. Short walking distance to the beach down a track. We were warmly welcomed on arrival and despite our late booking got two nice pitches. Will definitely re book, thank you.

We thoroughly enjoyed our time at Stubcroft. It’s a very well organised and run site. The new amenities block is fabulous. Showers are hot and designed so whilst showering your clothes etc do not get wet and are spacious. Each field has sufficient windbreaks surrounding them so buffeting of tent limited. Staff friendly and very helpful. Easy walks to nearby towns and beach. Site well situated in easy reach of several interesting places to visit. Will definitely be coming back.

Great facilities and welcoming staff, nice big plots and a well-stocked shop on site, new amenities block is clean and open 24/7, close to beaches and lots to do in West Sussex if you know where to look. Hire of fire pits from the shop is a nice touch
Excellent family camp site
My partner and I stayed at Stubcroft with two other couples and three children under 10 in total. The site is excellent: well laid out, spacious, flat pitches divided into rectangular ‘fields’ between hedges so young children can play safely within clear bounds and the camp site feels a lot smaller than it actually is. We loved the fact that we could use our fire pit (many camp sites won’t allow open fires). There is an 11pm curfew so you can be sure of a good night’s sleep. The shop is well stocked, the facilities block is kept spotless and the staff are welcoming, ever-present and helpful. They have even kept the original ‘long drop’ toilet for those who wish to commune with nature and teach children about traditional sanitation. Bracklesham Bay beach is a walk away. We will be back!
Amazing family run campsite, our second year and we are going to book again for next year. Site is very open and not crowded, everyone is respectful, and the facilities are great. The staff are super helpful, and nothing is too much trouble. Highly recommend for families.
Outstanding campsite. Great staff. First rate, brand new block with toilets, showers, camp shop, laundry etc… A number of nice sized areas for caravans/tents enclosed with hedging and communal area in the middle. I could go on – the attention to detail is exceptional. Congratulations must go to Farmer Simon and his team!
Lovely people, fab site
We have LOVED our stay here. We stayed for 4 nights with 3 other families. Facilities are good. Owners try hard to provide a good and environmentally conscious place to stay. Fire pits and bbqs well organised and easy to use. Shop has lots of useful things. Polite reminders to reduce ‘frivolity’ noise at 2300 were given kindly and without confrontation. Our kids were free and happy. And we survived the storm of the weekend! We would love to return. Thank you Stubcroft.
Amazing customer service, very clean and safe campsite for all the family, definitely recommend.
I stayed here for a total of 3 weeks on three different times this year. The campsite is extremely well looked after and busy during school holidays, weekends etc. It is close to the coast, Chichester etc and has lovely walks not too far from it. I’d definitely come back and would happily recommend it. They kindly forwarded on something that I was mailed but did not receive whilst staying there so that extra touch was great.

Second time at Stubcroft. Very well-run site. High quality, clean facilities, well stocked site shop and now with the addition of a catering truck doing breakfast and dinners to take away. Campfires allowed. 15-20minute walk to the seaside. Lovely.

We have just spent a few days here with friends. We will certainly be re booking in the future. Our pitch was great and huge! the toilet and shower block clean and regularly checked. Owners very friendly and helpful. Lovely to have fire pits and bbqs on hand to hire reasonably and what a thoughtful touch to have a help yourself herb garden! The mint was great in the Pimms!! What a great place
We have just returned from a 2 week break at this campsite and couldn’t of asked for more.Great location super clean toilet block great size pitches. Close to the Witterings with 2 nice walks into the village and beach both about 20 minutes. We used the train to visit Brighton and the campsite is a 15 minute to station. I would highly recommend s stay here.
I had forgotten what a gem this campsite is… and it’s gotten so much better too. Energy efficient reception/shower toilet block with solar heated water and solar electric power and full recycling facilities. On top of this freezing ice blocks is free (charity donation requested), £1 to charge three phones for an hour (50p of which goes to charity!!!) All the charities are fantastic humanitarian causes. The campsite itself is split into 5 nice sized fields, each of which gave electric and non-electric pitches and you can have fires and BBQs. In think that this is the best site ever!

This is real gem of a campsite. Friendly staff, good clean amenities, great size pitches and one of very few sites that allow fire pits and has a sensible check out time of 12pm (no extra charge for late check out). Great location to the beaches and plenty of good walks. So glad to have found this place and will definitely be back again. Thanks to all the staff for making it a pleasant stay, so refreshing to stay on a campsite without having to battle the normal grumpy campsite owners at every turn!
This is a really great little camp site. They pitches are really good and everything is very well run. The shower and toilet areas are really clean, and the staff are really friendly. Well worth going to if you’re looking a nice relaxing camp.

Stayed for a night with my 2 young children this week and had a wonderful time! The campsite was pretty full but didn’t feel overcrowded and the facilities are excellent. The grounds are very well kept, you can see how hard the staff work. Lovely little touches like the help yourself herb garden. Really impressed and will be back again very soon! Stubcroft Farm camping
Twelve friends stayed 15 July for 3 nights in Hazel field. Marvellous eco-friendly campsite and really helpful staff and owner. Plenty of space but this was before schools break up. So much to see and do in surrounding area – beach, dunes, walks, bird life, Chichester, pubs and the Itchy Bosom ferry (not to be missed)! Like to stay at Stubcroft longer next time.

Excellent campsite
Our first visit to Stubcroft, and we enjoyed it so much, we’ve booked in again for the August Bank Holiday! The pitches are spacious, and the facilities very good. Overall, it’s a well-managed site, and hard to find any fault.
Great campsite. Such a bonus to be able to have firepits and bbqs – with plenty available to rent cheaply or BYO. Well laid out pitches and all the amenities were ideal – hot showers with lots of space, indoor washing up area, little shop with basics as well as not-so-essential items! Loved it!! ?

A lovely place to stay with lots to offer!
Just back from another fantastic weekend at Stubcroft Farm. I’ve been visiting for several years and have seen the site grow and develop into the lovely place that it is now. The whole team have worked very hard to get their site to well deserved, award winning standards. The new facilities building houses a washing-up room, showers, toilets and a well-stocked shop. Pitches are well spaced out allowing plenty of room to spread out with your tents and other camping gear. If you fancy venturing off site then the shops and beach at East Wittering are only a short walk away. All in all, a lovely family run site that is great for families with kids and kept to a very high standard.

Another great weekend at Stubcroft Farm Campsite. Friendly and helpful staff always on hand. Facilities are regularly checked and cleaned. The reception area shop is well stocked, carrying plenty of local produce and the pitches are very well maintained, level and clean. Family friendly site with a no music/noise policy after 11 pm 🙂
Fantastic Camp Site!
Have been coming to Stubcroft for years and every time I just love the place more and more! Its a great campsite with amazing facilities, lovely shower block, great for friends and family and in an easily location (short drive to West Wittering and about a 10 minutes’ walk to East where you can get a range of food!). I’ll be back soon! 🙂

Brilliant weekend had at Stubcroft
Had a great weekend at Stubcroft. Pitches were well maintained and flat. All the facilities were great, clean and well maintained. The team were really friendly and very helpful. After 11pm it was really quiet which was much appreciated. Loved the fact it was so close to the beach, 20 min walk. We’ll definitely be back . …already booking for later in the summer.
Excellent well-designed campsite. Love the way the space has been divided up into small fields which feels more relaxed and sheltered from the weather. Showers and toilets are excellent. There are pubs, fish and chip shops, restaurants, food shops and beaches all within walking distance so once you’re there you could just park the car and do everything on foot or by bike. The shop is well stocked, and the staff are friendly and helpful.

This campsite is our absolute favourite place. Well situated near the Witterings a short walk into East Wittering. The facilities are top class, always clean. The shop is well stocked with most things that you could want. The owners and staff are always super helpful. Generous pitches in small and larger fields. We always try to go once or twice a year with friends. This trip all my family came as they knew that there was no place i would rather celebrate than at Stubcroft with a paella on an open fire – My perfect happy place!
My favourite place. Amazing facilities, always clean, friendly helpful staff. Great location a short walk to east wittering with great grocers and butchers and a quick drive to the west. The shop has most things that you would need and the grass is perfect!
Love it here so much my friends and family surprised me with a trip for my 40th – no better place to be. Happy days.
seaside/country camping delight!!!
we love this place, the staff are so welcoming and friendly and they are always trying to do as much as they can for the environment which feels very appropriate and necessary right now. The facilities are great and clean with hot showers! The pitches are flat and grassy and lush with plenty of space to breathe and surrounded by trees with a view of the sunset. You only have to walk through lovely countryside (where alpacas can be seen) for 20 minutes to either Bracklesham bay or East witterings where there are eateries and the sea to swim in. What is not to like about Stubcroft farm??!!! Nothing!!
We’ve just had a great weekend at Stubcroft Farm with a group of 5 families all together. It was a very relaxed campsite with everything you need on site. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Toilets and showers were clean with hot water all the time. There’s also a couple of family shower rooms which we used with our 20month old daughter. Can’t wait to come again!

This is the second time we have camped at this campsite. Absolutely fab place. The pitches are a good size. Love the fact you can have a campfire and that they have a little shop where you can buy locally sourced produce. The facilities were great. 3 showers with room to put your towels/ clothes on, hairdryer, loads of toilets which was very clean. The owners are very friendly and helpful. Lots of local information available about the area. Only 15-20 minutes’ walk into East Wittering and the beach. Nice restaurants and pubs. I’d recommend the boulevard restaurant which does really good fish and chips. Good cycle trails too. We are planning another stay here as this is one of the best campsites we have been to and within walking distance to the pub and beach!

We have just spent five nights at Stubcroft Farm over the Easter break. Despite being full for three of the nights, the staff did a fantastic job of ensuring everything ran smoothly. Top marks for the facilities that never failed to offer hot water. The pitches were all a good size too. Looking forward to returning soon.

Stayed here for 2 night in September. Having read reviews, I can definitely say that the staff were nothing but incredibly helpful, and very friendly throughout our whole stay. We checked in easily when we arrived, and were given lots of advice on where we could eat and get takeaways delivered, as well as local routes to get into the village etc. Very friendly and helpful. Lots of products for sale in the shop at a fair price, and mobile charging/fridges available if you need it while you’re in the great outdoors. All donations to charity etc, a great idea. The washing facilities are great, very new and hot water supply was good. There was never a queue for showers etc. Our pitch was a good size, nice ground and flat. It did get a lot busier on the second night, being the start of a weekend, but we still had plenty of space and could easily keep out of the way of neighbours. Around a 25min walk to the village, with lots of shops etc there. Overall, a good base to explore the local area with great facilities!
We hadn’t camped for a few years and after visiting many sites around the country and Europe in the past … This was the absolute best! Thank you for your warm welcome, lovely fascilities and the positive atmosphere you have worked hard to create at Stubcroft Farm. See you next year with luck! X
Had a lovely stay for 3 nights only, midweek in September when schools back; so fairly quiet. Weather also great, which helps, but we were very impressed with this site. Very well run with a lot of attention to detail. The facilities block with clean toilets and showers, a washing up room, and other features such as phone charging and washing machine, was great. Lots of information about things to do and places to go. The provision for campfires and barbecues was impressive, and we liked the absence of lights in the camping fields to reduce light pollution. Although it is possible to walk to a decent restaurant, the feel is one of being very quiet and secluded in the depths of the country. We enjoyed exploring on bikes and on the second day picked up the Salterns way (a little tricky to find) and followed it right into Chichester. Will almost certainly go again

Great campsite, good location, well run/ maintained with clean / modern facilities. We stayed two nights here and will be coming back. Very child friendly due to layout of campsite and thoughtful owners. Our friends had problems starting their car and the owner got them going and could not have been more helpful. Thank you again. Very child friendly. I am a foster carer. I love the freedom children experience from camping. Stubcroft Farm Campsite is a safe and extremely child friendly environment. It is has great first family bike ride routes. This was my 4th year in a row and I seem to love it more and more each year. And you can have a campfire. Camping without a campfire isn’t camping!
Excellent facilities, perfect position, helpful staff. The area is really pretty, and you have access to both the sea and the countryside. We took bikes and were a couple with a 16-year-old boy. He loved the interesting terrain for his mountain bike. The wonderful sand dunes at West Wittering makes an excellent beach for swimming and on a rainy day we drove into Chichester for a bit of culture. The campsite has everything you want and is set up to make everything very easy. Lots of washing up areas, both eco loos if you want to be close to nature and a modern shower block, with the use of washing machine, hook ups to charge your phones etc. Everything was just perfect.
Excellent friendly campsite. This was our first visit to the campsite and were very impressed by the location, the new spotless facilities and extremely friendly staff. We stayed for 2 nights midweek and had a large corner pitch with very friendly neighbouring campers and caravanners. We had great long walks for the two of us from the campsite via very pleasant East Wittering (c 20 mins walk) then via the beach to West Wittering and onto the entrance to Chichester Harbour at East Head with views over to the Isle of Wight. We enjoyed being able to just leave the campervan on site and be able to be topped up at East Wittering with anything we wanted on our way there and on the way back. Simon was very helpful and offered some great advice to us. Simon’s staff were also very helpful. Thank you. We plan to be back very soon. Stephanie and Stephen.
Impeccably maintained site.
The campsite is approached by a single-track country lane with passing places, so watch out for oncoming pedestrians and cyclists. The site is surrounded by beautiful corn fields. When we arrived, we were greeted by the owner who was very friendly and able to offer advice about the surrounding area, we were shown to a generous pitch close to all the facilities. The showers and toilets were kept really clean. All in all the campsite felt very rural and peaceful but was in walking distance (15 mins) to local amenities. We had a lovely trip and enjoyed the beautiful beaches nearby.
Amazing site. Shower/toilet/washing up block was always clean and kept tidy, friendly staff on reception/shop, onsite shop was well stocked and excellent value for everyday essentials and bbq bits. Stubcroft is a quiet site, pitches are set along hedgerows giving you privacy and stops people walking around the tent waking children up in the evenings, like we’ve experienced on other sites. Everyone kept to the quiet hours 11pm-8am. I loved the recommended places to eat list that is in the information stand, so many local places to visit. Will definitely be booking to stay again next summer. Thank you for a lovely holiday.
We love it at Stubcroft. The staff work incredibly hard to keep all campers happy. Great location to explore coast and Sussex. Fellow campers and their children always delightful. Balance between freedom and sensible rules will suit all those of a fair-minded disposition. Don’t leave without honey and jam!

We stayed here for 4 nights in a touring caravan recently at short notice during a very busy period (Goodwood Festival of Speed weekend). We had tickets for the festival but had an issue with the original camp site. After a quick phone call, we had a pitch for 2 nights. The staff were very accommodating and arranged for a spot for us for the other 2 nights which got us out of a very tricky situation. The showers and toilets were lovely and warm and kept clean. There is a shop onsite selling the essentials and a quiet policy between 11pm and 8am. The only there to be aware of is that the electric hook-up is limited to 10 amps so you need a travel kettle or use the gas hob!On the whole, a great, clean and friendly site. We will be back. Thanks again.
Highly recommend – friendly and well-run. We camped here with our young children (4-7 years), spending pleasant afternoons and evenings on the campsite, and the rest of the time playing on the superb local beaches. The campsite was full, with over 100 pitches occupied, and yet we had a pleasant experience staying there. We usually go for more wild camping – this is a more organised site than we are used to. For example, pitches are numbered and allocated to campers, and there are quite a few rules about conduct. But that did not get in the way of our enjoyment at all. Actually, the fact that Stubcroft is well regulated worked well – despite being full, there were no problems at all with noisy neighbours. The facilities were excellent – we never had to queue to shower or to use the loo. The shop is well-stocked and useful. The people who run the place are friendly and are clearly putting a lot of thought and effort into running their campsite. All-in-all there was an excellent atmosphere at Stubcroft, and we left feeling cheerful and relaxed, with the intention to return. A tip – stay on after Sunday, when the campsite empties and you only have to share the place with a few other people.

A pal and I decided we were doing 2 days at the Goodwood festival of speed. Hotel prices were ridiculous, so we thought Camping?. Found Stubcroft by accident and booked in thinking 2 nights we will survive. Wow what a fantastic place, brilliant communication, so helpful and a pleasure to deal with. On arrival the site is immaculate and very much on par with some of the best continental sites I’ve used. We booked in and were allocated our pitch (I’d booked electric hook-up) and the pitch was spacious. The facilities are spotless and well kept, there’s a well-stocked shop and access to Dish washing sinks, numerous water points and blocks to place your barbecue on. We seriously couldn’t find fault with the site it’s a credit to those running it. And as soon as FOS dates for 2019 are released we will be booking again. ???Stubcroft.

Broke down outside the campsite and the owner came and rescued us without hesitation! Really great and friendly owners. The sight was well laid out with clean and functional facilities with a well-stocked shop. Would highly recommend.

We Came across this site while touring by accident last year and love it so much we came back this year. Great location about a 10-minute walk from the local village and further 10 minutes’ walk to a sandy beach. Facilities on the site are all you need and always clean. Site owners are helpful and friendly.

Fabulous family camp, well organized with great amenities
Great campsite. I arranged a trip for 9 people, 3 families and 3 pitches over the May bank holiday. Michaela couldn’t have been more helpful when booking and then extending our weekend visit for an extra night when it was set to be the hottest bank holiday in history! The campsite was fully booked on the last night of our stay, but it didn’t seem crowded at all. Really nice clientele, children can play safely and freely, fantastic clean toilet and shower block. Everything at Stubcroft has been thought of and done really nicely. Farmer Green comes and says hello in the evening and has a chat to make sure everything and everyone is ok. Great location and really fairly priced. Can’t wait to go back!

Brilliant! Great site…well run, friendly. Very clean. Stayed over bank holiday although busy, standards were kept up…very family friendly. Will return with grandchildren. Thank you to the owners who very friendly and helpful.

Excellent facilities. We enjoyed a stay at Stubcroft campsite at the end of the summer. It has excellent facilities and they were happy for us to bring our dogs. Plenty of local fields for dog walks. We loved that the campsite had eco values and there are solar panels. It’s about a 20 min walk to nearby town and another 5 mins to the beach. The beach is lovely and dog friendly.

The perfect campsite! We have been visiting Stubcroft for the past 5 years and always have a lovely time. The location is fantastically convenient for the 3 amazing beaches on the Wittering peninsular. The site is well organised and well managed with the friendly owners having a very visible (but not intrusive) presence, giving the place a relaxed, positive, family-friendly atmosphere. The facilities are excellent, clean and the shop caters for almost every need. A great find!

Great relaxing family run site. Huge investment in modern and efficient facilities yet it still maintains its rustic charm. Great location within easy reach of East / West Wittering, Bracklesham. Highly recommended!
