The full amount is due when booking. We accept credit & debit cards, cash, cheques or bank transfers (Please make cheques payable to “Stubcroft Farm Campsite Ltd” –  all cheques must be cleared before arrival so please leave at least 7-10 days if paying by cheque).

Once we have received a completed booking form and full payment, we will send you an email confirming your booking. This email will contain check in details and details of your booking together with a map & directions of how to find us. We will also send copies of any other relevant safety information such as Electric Hook-ups, Campfires & Barbecues, and any special terms & conditions that apply to your booking. Please ensure that you read this information & forward it to anyone coming with you.

It is highly advisable to download the directions to ensure you arrive easily. Your pitch will be ready from 1 pm. Earlier or later arrival may be available by prior notification.

Before making a booking please check you have chosen the correct dates and pitch size / type and read our terms and conditions and cancellation policy here as payment is taken as acceptance of them. These terms, including the Cancellation Policy, apply from the time of making and paying for an online, telephone booking or booking in person in reception and agreeing to accept our T&C’s.
Please note the following refund policy will apply in the event of cancellation by the customer (including short notice bookings):

For cancellations with:

• more than six weeks’ notice – 75% of the total booking fee will be refunded.
• less than six weeks’ notice – 50% of the total booking fee will  be refunded.
• less than four weeks’ notice – 25% of the total booking fee will  be refunded.
• less than two weeks’ notice – 10% of the total booking fee will  be refunded.
• less than one weeks’ notice or ‘no-shows’ on the day, no refund will be due.

If you leave your pitch earlier than booked, no refunds can be given.

You may change the dates of your holiday up to six weeks prior to your arrival date subject to a 10% or £20 re-booking administrative fee whichever is the higher. Changes with less than six weeks notice will be subject to our normal cancellation policy above.

Covid: As all Covid restrictions have now been lifted by the government, any cancellations will be subject to our normal cancellation policy above.

If you cancel due to Accident, Medical, Bereavement or other major unforeseen reason, we may, at our discretion, carry forward bookings subject to named supporting evidence being supplied from a doctor, hospital, pharmacist, nurse or other authority to confirm the reason for cancellation (a re-booking fee may apply). If you are part of a group, this will only apply to your booking & not to other members of your group. For all other non medical cancellation reasons or weather related cancellations the cancellation policy will apply and we recommend that you take out holiday insurance to cover these.

All cancellations or changes must be notified in writing by email or post and will apply from the date received & confirmed.

We strongly advise that you take out normal holiday insurance to cover your camping holiday at Stubcroft.

Whether you have been here before, are part of a group where friends have already arrived or are a family going for a weekend away, please stop and check-in at the reception area just inside the Amenity Block. We can then give you a warm welcome and direct you to your camping pitch. Here you will receive a Welcome Pack including up to date important information about the site, your camping and car parking permits and a copy of our “Where to Eat” leaflet. We are also available for any enquiries throughout your stay. We ask that you arrive within opening hours to avoid disturbing other campers. If you arrive late and reception is closed, please call us on 01243 671 to make arrangements, you may be directed to a temporary overnight pitch near the entrance to avoid disturbing other campers.

There is a minimum stay of two nights at weekends for pre- bookings, single nights may be available on the day, please phone for late availability. Other minimum nights may apply for Bank & School Holidays. Phone charging lockers and a camper fridge / freezer for ice pack freezing are available for tented campers if needed.

Dogs are welcome subject to the following conditions:

• For safety & hygiene reasons, dogs should be kept on a lead at all times whilst on the campsite or farmyard (there are good dog walking lanes nearby).
• Any mess must be cleaned up immediately and dog poo bags should be disposed in the black waste bins
• There is a maximum limit of 2 dogs per pitch
• We do not accept any aggressive dogs or those on the “Dangerous Dogs” list.
• Owners should ensure their dogs are not causing a nuisance to neighbours or other campsite users.

Please do not book online until we confirm availability & please follow the group booking procedure that will be emailed to you. We accept a very limited number of group bookings with a maximum of three to five pitches and subject to our Group Booking Policy here.

For bookings of two or more pitches during the peak season, we may not be able to accommodate a mixture of electric and non-electric pitches or differing pitch sizes together.

There is a minimum 2-night booking for Fri / Sat at weekends for all pitch types from April to Mid-July and from October to March for hardstanding electric hookup pitches for pre- bookings. Single nights may be available on the day, please phone for late availability.

For Easter, Early May Bank Holiday and Late May (Whitsun) Bank Holiday weekends there is a minimum 3-night booking which must include the Friday, Saturday & Sunday evenings (extra nights can be added before or after if required). For the peak summer School Holiday period there is a minimum 3-night booking for weekends. For the August Bank Holiday weekend there is a minimum 4-night booking which must include the Fri / Sat / Sun evenings. Single or double nights may be available on the day if there are any cancellations or space left after pre-bookings have arrived.
