Our Amenity Block

Since our environmentally friendly Amenity Block opened in 2016, it has received several awards for its innovative eco-friendly design. The block features plenty of showers, toilets, washbasins, washing up sinks, family rooms with baby changing and even underfloor heating. Modern campers’ needs are catered for with phone charging lockers, laundry, a fridge freezer for campers use and even hairdryers! There is also a reception area and a comprehensive campsite shop.

Eco Friendly & Accessible Facilities

The award winning amenity block has been designed to high environmental standards and features solar hot water heating, an environmentally friendly biodigester, low energy LED lighting, heat pumps and a building design that is energy efficient and maximises the use of natural light. It has also been purpose designed for customers with a range of Accessible needs, with ramped access, fully Doc M compliant toilets, washbasins & showers, braille panels and much more. Campsite Shop

The campsite shop sells a wide range of groceries & fresh produce, toiletries, cold drinks, ice creams and general camping supplies and we take pre-orders. We also sell hot drinks & snacks. Campfires & BBQs are catered for with logs, kindling & BBQ charcoal, locally produced sausages, bacon, beef burgers vegetarian options and our ever-popular family Barbecue packs. Our own honey from the farm and occasional seasonal produce from the Kitchen Garden are also available. We are in the process of choosing more local & eco friendly products and reducing plastic. Electric Hook-ups, Car & Phone Charging

For caravans and campervans requiring electric hook-ups, there are 35 new 240 V / 10 amp hook-up units to the latest standards. Further information is available on our hook-up leaflet “here”

For those in tents or non-electric pitches who want the ability to charge mobile phone, rechargeable batteries & gadgets without needing to go for the cost of a full electric hook-up pitch, our new coin operated mobile phone / gadget charging cabinet is available – 50% of the cost is donated to charity. The cabinet features low level lockers for wheelchair users. There is also Fridge/Freezer available for re-freezing ice blocks etc. in return for a donation to our charity box. We have charging points in the car parking area for Electric Vehicles & Mobility Scooters and a secure charging area for Electric Wheelchairs.
