Noise & Nuisance
Quiet Hours are between 11.00pm & 8.00am. Entrance gates will be closed between these hours and late arrivals are asked to park outside & walk to their pitch quietly to avoid disturbing other campers and sleeping children. Music is to be kept at a reasonable level, please respect your neighbouring campers and ensure you are not a nuisance to other campers on the site.  Please respect other camper’s tent space especially when playing ball games etc. Generators are not permitted on the site at any time.

Anyone causing a nuisance after being warned by campsite staff will be asked to leave without refund.

Group bookings
We do accept group bookings provided that all campers in the group respect other campers on the field with regards to noise & nuisance etc. Groups must have a nominated person responsible for their conduct.

For families and couples, a £20 deposit per tent will be due on arrival & refunded if no complaints received / no damage is done. For all other groups the deposit is £10 per person.

Dogs
Please keep dogs on a short lead at all times on the site and they are not a nuisance to fellow campers. Ensure any mess is cleared up immediately and do not leave your dog unattended on the site at any time.

Barbecues & Camp Fires
No fires to be lit on the ground under any circumstances. Barbecues and camp fires are allowed in suitable containers only, set at least 18 inches off the ground so they do not damage or burn the grass. Any damaged pitches will incur a £10 re-seeding fee. Please place disposable barbecues on blocks which may be found by the dustbins on site & return blocks after use.
No firewood is to be taken or cut from the farm or surrounding areas & lanes - please bring your own firewood. We also sell firewood at the farmhouse for use on the site.

Pitches

All campers must call at the reception before pitching. Please pitch between the white marker posts and allow 3 metres between tents for fire safety. Your pitch size will be reserved according to your booking: if your tent/campervan is larger than the size of pitch you booked we cannot guarantee the extra space and you will have to pay the difference. Please use breathable groundsheets for longer stays.

Waste Disposal & Recycling
Rubbish disposal is for long term, weekly campers only - if you are only staying for 1-2 days please take your non-recyclable rubbish back with you. All recyclables must be sorted into the correct bins, anyone found placing recyclables into the general rubbish will be charged a £5 sorting fee which will be donated to Greenpeace.
Stubcroft Farm is run on sustainable, environmentally friendly grounds and we ask that all campers respect that ethos. Every hour in the UK we generate enough waste to fill the Albert Hall and most of that waste is buried in landfill sites in the countryside.  To preserve the countryside for future generations and ensure that you can enjoy this area for your future visits, we ask that campers try to minimize environmental damage and landfill by waste reduction & recycling.

Reduce
– your consumption and only buy what you need! Choose products that use the minimum packaging.
Recycle – separate and recycle tins, glass, recyclable plastic bottles, compostable waste, paper & cardboard.
Re-Use – choose reusable products instead of disposable products (ie barbecues, mugs, cups & cutlery etc)
Respect – the food you eat, it comes from farms like ours! Every week on the campsite hundreds of pounds worth of food is unused, wasted & thrown away. It has an environmental cost in production, transport & packaging!

Ecoloos
Ecoloos are natural composting toilets and by their nature are completely different from flush toilets. Modern consumer society shelters people from these natural processes, which to some may appear primitive - please remember that they produce a natural, environmentally friendly compost instead of a polluting sewage like water-based toilets. Everyday in the UK conventional toilets use 7 billion gallons of water which depletes rivers, streams and aquifers and generates 7 billion gallons of sewage, much of which is discharged into our rivers and coastal areas.

We ask that wherever possible campers use the ecoloos and parents encourage children to use, and understand the reasons for using them. Remember, it is 'Not Easy Going Green'!

In keeping with our sustainable ethos, we provide 8 waterless composting ecoloos for those who wish to be more environmentally friendly. For those of a more sensitive disposition we do provide 8 conventional flush toilets and showers near the farmhouse. We want to keep our local blue flag beaches to a high standard for your enjoyment.

Health and Safety
We take the well being and safety of our guests very seriously and we ask that you comply with the following:
- The speed limit on the site is 5mph. PLEASE DRIVE SLOWLY.
- All vehicles must confirm to the Road Traffic Act and have current tax, MOT and insurance.
