On site we have six environmentally friendly "ecoloos" & two new “Mark 2” ecoloos on the campsite field, which save between 1000 and 2000 gallons of water on a busy summer holiday weekend. There are also 6 showers, 8 conventional flush toilets and 8 hot & cold washbasins for those who prefer more modern facilities. These are configured as three separate hot shower room suites with a conventional WC and washbasin in each, 5 additional individual toilet cubicles with hot & cold washbasins and 3 separate individual hot shower units.  Unlike some sites, all our showers & toilets are free to use for the season.

We now have a small campsite shop on site which sells a good range of groceries, toiletries, camping essentials, ice creams, cold drinks, logs, kindling & BBQ charcoal, locally produced sausages, bacon, beef burgers and other camping essentials, along with our own eggs & honey all at reasonable prices. We also provide an Ice Pack freezing service for 25p per ice pack; large ones are 50p.

There are plenty of drinking water taps & washing up sinks at strategic locations around the fields and a chemical toilet waste disposal point is situated near the house. (please use eco-friendly toilet fluid whilst on site) There is also a waste recycling point, and we would ask campers to sort out recyclable glass, cans, paper and plastic from there waste to help protect the countryside for future generations.

For those wanting electric hookups, we have just upgraded to eight 240v hookup units to the latest standards (please note these are for standard blue three pin waterproof round plugs & designed for approved camping hookup units with protective RCD's - not domestic extension leads).
